i just called the mac store and the MA said theses post card will be send to the people how been in the system for a long time , so when i toled her that i added my address like last month and she said ohh noo i do not think that you will be getting one because you it is not been that long

i am confused why they are doing that , it is not fear

, i have been purchasing for years but i really did not thing about adding my address because when you buy non of MAS asked to do soo , ohh anyway i guess it is no big deal if i get or not get one.

That sucks. I just added my name last WEEK. But my nearest counter is 45 minutes away and my nearest store is a hour away

. Its just easier for me to order online and save the gas. PLUS I can order more and spend the money I would have spent on gas on MAC instead. I wonder why they're putting stipulations on it? You'd think it'd be for MAC California customers no matter what... :: Sighs :: All Well LOL.

i do the same thing i buy on line to save on gas money and all these years i did not add my self on there system until last month , and i agree with you

I think this is cool way to get people back in the store who haven't been shopping. It's a great marketing tool. I defenitely see why they aren't sending to people who spend, because those are shoppers that are set, who already spend in the stores. They want to bring IN more people to spend. It's NOT a reward, it's a BRIBE. It's not a punishment if you don't receive one. You get rewarded every time you shop - when you give the MA 14$, guess what you get? A LIPSTICK! Or a LIPGLASS! But if you maybe had a bad experience at MAC, or don't go there anymore, or go to another brand for your makeup, and you randomly receive this in the mail, what might you do? Think, "Man, this is cool! I'm gonna get a free lipstick! Come to think of it, I do like thier lipglass/powder/foundation/whatever, I might pick one of those up." BAM! Mac gets another customer.

you have to make a purchase at the mac store and let them know that you want your address to be added to there system so you could get post cards and mailers in the mail, and they will take you full name and address and you will start getting some of the post cards in the mail , i hope that helped

I agree with what you said but why can't customers who haven't shopped in a while receive a free lipstick from the perm line? I think that since it is an extremely limited new color that should be given to loyal MAC customers as a thank you. That is just my thought!

But think of how cool it would be to have something so rare. This is truly limited! I think its a beautiful color but I hate luster's, too. I'd love to have it, though, just so I could say I had it.

If they got a perm lippie that they could get at any time, why would they want to come in? A LE item just for them makes them feel special, and want to open thier wallets a little.
