Seriously what the HELL? They take their dogs to the vet but not their own flesh and blood? (well, minus the stepmother) I don't even know what to say. Her parents should be locked up and malnourished a.k.a sent to some weird third-world prison. 48 months isn't even a fraction of time they should be sent to jail.
