nope, doesn´t feel heavier at all. You don´t necessarily have to buy Fix+ for it though, you can try just misting your brush with a little water (out of a spritz bottle) and then dip it into your mineral foundation and swirl it around so the brush is evenly (and lightly!) covered by mineral foundation.

Actually I mixed medium beige matte with medium beige summer semi-matte. Those are the only 2 samples I had. The first is way too light, the later way too dark on me.
In the pics it still looks decent though, and I blended a LOT
