I feel underwhelmed by the new lippies. I have so many similar products that cost a lot less. These will really have to “knock my socks off” to get me to invest in a lot of them. Though I may try one for “research purposes.”:rolleyes:

And what one are you considering "researching"?

I might “test” Pussycat and Pink Sabre. I am not sure which patent color to test. :rolleyes:

Testing Pink Sabre today. I agree with reviews that say the formula feels thick/heavy when initially applied. Blotting down helps a lot, and the color is nicer when blotted down. Lips still stick together a bit even after blotting until the product dries down more. Not a deal breaker for me, but it is annoying. I added a neutral nude liner. Without the liner the edges looked sloppy. Waiting to see how this wears throughout the day. :cool:

What’s your final verdict @Haven? Are you glad you bought them? Was Pussycat super drying (if you've tried it)?

I tried Pussycat and Pink Sabre Lacquers and hated them. Pussycat was too dark of a mauve for my taste (which is kind of irrelevant, I know!) and super drying on my lips. It hurt to get it off. Pink Sabre looked Tin Man metallic on me.

I thought I posted this already but I don't see it. I picked up some extreme colors. I saw some at Bergdorf's and couldn't resist. I tried really hard not to as Nordies and NM said they were getting them in store soon but I was so surprised to see them that I had to swatch. Oh the lip colors looked so pretty. I recalled reading one review that wasn't that favorable but I couldn't remember why though. I tried Cameo. I've had my eye on it for awhile. In person, it looks more unusual than it does online. It is a super light color and looked like it would not look good on me but I really liked it. I had on a berry lipstick and it left a stain when I removed it. I put a very light coat on and pressed lips together. I loved it and had to get it. I do wonder if it looked good because I had berry stained lips but I can work it. Probably will need a lip liner. I can see people not liking this extreme color formula. It has a thin texture. Seemed sheer. But the colors were super bright and seemed to have some duochrome or iridescent effect to it that will be be welcome come summer. I don't know if they can be built up or not. I didn't try to. I have a feeling the color could go wrong really fast on me if I tried to do that but I think it would be fine on someone lighter than me. I do like sheer colors though. This description is just based on my trying it on in the store. I haven't worn it again yet. I think I will get a few more of these TF extreme lip colors.

Now I liked the colors of the extreme eyeshadows. I know tremblelikeaflower on IG did a really nice writeup on them. I'll try to find the link tomorrow. I only tried a few as I was trying not to buy anything. Yeah right. I really just went to the store to pick up a perfume that was being discontinued. (not tomFord, More TF perfume news in a few) Why did I even walk down that aisle? I didn't have to get my perfume. I can't help myself. Anyhow I had to have the pink - looked duochromey to me and the silver glitter. I hope to try these 2 tomorrow.

As for Tom Ford perfume the SAs told me Ombre Leather 16 perfume was coming back this month. I guess it was a really popular limited edition perfume. They said it was coming back in some special packaging. I have never tried it.
