I was at my Nordies counter last week and saw the book for the anniversary sale.

There is a new quad coming out during the anniversary sale, as part of a sale exclusive set. The book was just a black and white photocopy so I didn't snap a photo but it looked like it might've been the wet/dry finish. The quad was called Iris Bronze (inspired by the Iris Bronze single) and the set included the quad and two lipstick minis in Casablanca and Spiced Honey.

There's also a new fragrance launching in July called Fougere d'Argent.

Just got back from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and the TF set with the new quad was already sold out in store!Apparently, they pre-sold all of them. I think they need a better way to manage the sale of the beauty exclusives. I was there at 10:00am on the first day of sale for card members and they were gone. I was able to get one because the sales associate ordered one online for her other client and sold me one from the store stock.

By the time the sale is open to the public next week I think there will be very limited quantities of the popular beauty exclusives.

Agreed! My store said they were only getting 12, and the SA put me on the list. Well, apparently there were at least 12 people ahead of me because he said we’d need to order mine.

I ended up just passing on it altogether. I recently finally bought cocoa mirage, and I have honeymoon and cognac sable, so I suppose I have enough TF neutrals.

Now for a tangent! ...
I decided to do my shopping for this year’s sale online since the store gets so nuts. I placed an order and never received a confirmation email, so I looked at my account and it wasn’t there. I checked again about an hour later and it still wasn’t there and still no email. I placed an order for the same stuff and the exact same thing happened. So then I placed a third order and the same thing happened. But, when I went back and checked after work, suddenly all orders were showing and all said “preparing to ship”. And all of them are for the exact same things, give or take a couple items that sold out between orders. So I called customer service and they said they will try to cancel the duplicates. Try?! Ugh. Overall, not happy at all so far with this year’s sale.

YES! Same thing happened to me, but I did't try to order again. I called my store to see if they had this palette & the girl said no they were sold out so while she was getting the TF SA, I ordered it online. Awhile later I checked my account & there was no order & no email confirmation. The TF SA gets on the phone & he tells me that actually he found one more palette & he held it for me until I could find out about my online order. A frickin hour & a half later I'm on my cell phone to my store & my landline phone on hold for at least 45 min. trying to find out about what happened to my online order. The store cannot find the one that the SA was holding for me & he had just gone home for the day :doh::doh::doh: Another 20 minutes goes by because she is looking for it all over the place, finally gets the MU counter manager & she finds it right away so I paid for it over the phone to get my extra points & I'll pick it up on Sunday when we go. NIGHTMARE NORDIES lol I haven't bought anything else from the sale.

Yes, the one with the two lipsticks. I'm wearing the two light colors from the top row and they are nice. They aren't the same formula as the Nude Dip so I assume they are like the standard TF quads. I haven't done a side-by-side comparison but the colors remind me of the PMG Platinum Bronze palette. The PMG is a much better deal.

I think this is a nice quad that people will get a lot of use out of and the price point is good because you get two lipsticks. This will most likely be my last TF quad....I just can't justify paying $88!!

On a different note, I LOVE the Charlotte Tilbury face palette. I was a little apprehensive about all the colors working for me but they do! The bronze is sheer enough for my NC20 skin. The highlighters are GORGEOUS. I'm really happy with it.

Thanks! I'm going to swatch it before I bring it home, but it looks nice, especially the top left shade. Which CT palette - the one in the Nordies sale?

I purchased the TF set and the CT sets. Women were frantically grabbing for the TF sets, but I was able to get it.

Side note: I did a buy online/pick up in store order for the TF set yesterday. I couldn’t make it to the mall until mid morning and thought that it would sell out. I never got an email about the order yesterday. This morning I got a “sorry an item from your order was canceled” email about my in store pick up TF order. It is sold out at my local Nordstrom. This is after CS assurance that my order guaranteed that I would get it. Thankfully I went to the store yesterday!

I am just watching the nightmare Nordie's madness from afar...nothing really catching my fancy. Then again I have not looked too closely...the :"If I don't look, I won't see it tactic.";)

Has anyone tried TF sunscreen SPF 50? It’s $76 but if it’s good I would splurge lol
I haven't tried it but no way should sunscreen cost $76. I'd recommend checking online for recommendations, you'll see very good ones that are much more reasonably priced.

Ugh I’m sorry to hear you had the same issue. I hope you love the TF set! All my orders were canceled *eye roll*. I tried one last time and if it doesn’t work then oh well. I’m officially tapping out of this sale

I also had an order that showed as cancelled. But try doing a chat or call, I know it takes forever to get through but I was able to confirm that only one item was cancelled and the rest of my order was good. I never got an email or anything so I thought the whole order was cancelled, but she sent me a link that showed my order as in progress. I had to wait 30 min on the chat but at least I know that it took. Good luck!
