I apologize if it has been mentioned but a really nice SA at Nordstrom let me look at the items that will on sale during the Anniversary Sale. TF will have Lips & Boys trio (Item # 1120524) for $96, which will include Flynne, Giacamo and Alejandro. Just FYI.
First I'm hearing of it. I wanted Alejandro but don't really care for the other 2. Thanks for letting us know.
Alejandro was a renamed for one already out in the perm line. Can't remember which one, sorry

Karma is a bitch, and time and time again I have seen this actually occur. And these are the one's who are so pissed off!
Since this appears to be directed at me, please clarify.
Nothing to do with you. I was referring to something that took place when my father was ill. The less then kind words and actions. Then 8 weeks later, one of people who was the worse ended up in the ICU of the Cardiac Care Unit. Yes, I am very sorry this person became ill. Just ironic this personnel ended up exactly the same place my father was at.

Ok thanks for clarifying. I was confused.

Does anyone know any good dupes for Tom Ford's creme eyeshadows in Platinum and Spice?

I have a lot of the By Terry Blackstar and Charlotte Tilbury creme eyeshadows already. Just wondering if it looks similar to any of those.

I'm not sure how others felt about it.  But, I felt like it was too muddy on me. So it could totally be user error.  Like Vinetha said maybe I was using too much.  I have noticed a little goes a very long way with these.  Like when the MUA used Golden Peach on me, it just looked golden.  When I did it, it was definitely peach, but looked thicker.  So it is more than likely user error, and maybe not the color.  I didn't get any of the khaki brown that Vinetha described.  I think that is exactly what I did.   Plus the blue shade was the first blue I liked on me.
Blue looks horrible on my hazel/green eyes along with last year's unabashed colbalt blue but this summer's blue is gorgeous + it looks like sparkling water in the Mediterranean!! I find with TF's darker creams that they can "go reptile" very quickly! I dont use my finger to get the dark ones out of thier pot, I use a pencil brush to get a dot then blend with my finger or I use a Marc Jacobs concealer brush....

Perhaps the Naked Bronze e/s duo can satisfy your craving for Spice. I just swatched the two and they'r every close. I don't have Platinum but I'm sure someone else
here can help with that one.

Hi there!!!!! Good to see you as always!!!! That would be very interesting! I guess it makes sense that TF would attempt to replicate the success of Lips & Boys
by following up with Lips & Girls. Honestly this is the first I've heard of it.

Congrats on your happy M/U week. I love hearing about those. Fandango was on their web site for quite a while but it's now OOS---so pretty. I'm glad you were able
to get another one.

I'm such a highlighter addict but I've been avoiding the Colourpop ones---I'm afraid it will represent another deep rabbit hole for me. I have however ordered the BB
Telluride collection shimmer brick, Pink Sunset. I'm hopeless when comes to highlighters. I've heard nothing but good things about the CPs!!!!

These ladies rock don't they? I came back with full-blown Specktra withdrawal. They all made me feel super special . The wedding was really great! One down, two
to go!!!!

Thanks for asking!!

I own all the new CT cream shadows. Nothing like TF. Not even close. Yes, there is a campaign coming in Sept and other chapter of Boy's. Not sure it is 100% new or some repeats. Will know more in a week. Big conclave in Houston this week for TF people.

It is like comparing apples to oranges, literally. Both are good. CT are fluffy, very creamy, remind me of chocolate or I guess any flavor mousse in texture. I use the Chanel round fluffy brushes to apply. Lightly and I mean lightly dap into jar, and apply to eyelid. Very easy to blend out. You can build up the intensity of color in layers. TF to me is like the texture of just open soft cream cheese. Gee, can you tell I cook??? It is firmer, using the TF concealer brush works the best. I tried the Chanel concealer brush. Better result with TF brush. Using a stiff brush on CT gives way too much product.

The color of TF is out of jar bold. More challenging to blend. A super little amount goes a really long way. It also has more shimmer within the actual product. CT has a soft sheen vs shimmer, if that makes sense???? I have found if I use a base of Norma Jean over the entire eye, very lightly, TF blends betters. Or the Guerlian White Sand as a base. The Chanel cream sticks blend a ga-billion times better over either of these bases. Yes, even if you use primer. Which I do.

One is not better then the other. Just different in texture, application. I have found on my Pink Casper skin that Cleo is not in your face teal. Actually not really teal at all. Unless I use the Chanel eyeliner from a few collections back or the Dior turquoise kohl pencil. Or the new Chanel purple liner from Summer 2015. Then just a gentle wash of the color. I have found the color in the jar is not the color on your lids. It is more of a soft wash of that color. Remember Art 101 no color stands alone. It is effected by the colors surrounding it.

Think of the lip glosses from Chanel Summer 2014. Like the orange one. You do not get the Naval Orange color in the tube. It is just a lovely pinky, with a soft touch of coral (which usually looks like $hyt on me) But this I love. When I put this on work. Yes, it fits perfectly in a chef's jacket pocket on the upper sleeve. They think I am nuts. Which I am, but that is not the color that ends up on my lips.

Hope this helps. I will totally own when I first received CT, I was less then impressed. Now that I have worked with them, no regrets. Would purchase again. Mona is not brown on me. Again, what you see in the jar, is not what ends up on your lids. Yes, Cleo and Armani are not dupes. But heck, I don't think pea pods and green peppers are the same color either.....seasonally cooking for 3000 on Sat. has me dreaming of fresh veggies and fruits......

This morning I used the cream blush and the e/c palette along with the Rose lipstick. Topped it off with the Chanel orange clear gloss from last summer. Made a doable coral for my pink skin! I used the darkest shadow over my lid, the lightest color on the inside corner of my eye and under brow bone. Add a touch of the sparkle in the crease. Used the blush highlighter just above the cream blush. Then used the TF brown eyeliner pencil and Mocha Rush mascara. Did the tips of my lashes with the burnt orange Chanel mascara that was Summer 2014, only released in Europe.

Thanks so much for the detailed response!

My friend has Platinum and Spice to sell and she needs to know by today - but with my existing stash, I still cannot decide whether to get it or not! Argh!

I'm a Tom Ford addict, seriously.

Buy them, provided they have been gently used at the most.
