What does your man say about your mac addiction??

My man just thinks it's funny. He has no clue how much I've actually spent, I like to keep that on the down low lol. Everytime we go to the mall he already expects me to stop lol. He also laughs at me when he sees me taking pictures for the FOTD section, if I were him I would to lol. He can't say much though cause he's just as obsessed with his video games as I am with MAC. Overall, he's pretty incouraging because he likes the end resluts when I'm all done.

My boyfriend pokes fun at my MAC collection once in a while but he totally gives me a hard time about my Specktra addiction

it's all in good fun though. He is always teasing me about something.

My boyfriend always makes fun of me for it. Especially since I don't wear it...

But I always tell him... Some girls buy shoes, some buy purses, and some buy clothes to make them feel better. I buy make-up cause it always fits!!!

Ummmm he doesn't like it much, however he knows thats its pretty much my only one passion in lilfe so he lets me go nuts, but he just doesn't like seeing at least 10 packages a day, and knowing how much it costs haha. But I've obviously influenced coz he'll pick out colors for me when we go to MAC, that are actually the right shades for me haha... and of course he notices everyones makeup now haha... oops LOL

at first my guy was ok with my purchase but then it grew and he got pissed saying that i bought some colurs but i never wear it and i kinda waste my money..haha.but in the end,he had been ok with it now.he dont mind anymore.i always made a point to him that he also splurge his money on his bike so why cant i.ehehe

My boyfriend says he can never tell when I am wearing makeup (even if I have like BRIGHT green eyeshadow on or something). So I always make him name the things I am wearing. He is pretty good with my makeup addiction and has even started helping me pick out things (although if I try to get something that he would like to see on me he is just all like "I DONT KNOW!!! haha).

He even tries to explain his bass-guitar obsession in makeup-related terms (although this usually doesnt cross over well....ex: him trying to explain that he has to have this one pedal is like me needing to get a certain product haha...).

at least he doesnt try to steer me away from the makeup stores in the same way he keeps me from the shoe sections hehe...(he litterally grabs me and pulls me away from shoes).

My BF doesn't mind actually. When we first got together, he kept calling MAC, MACs with the 's' attached. He'd say 'What did you get from MACs today?' He doesn't mind and he doesn't care about what I spend my money on. However, he loves Taupe l/s on me, and always asks me to wear it.

I actually got my S/O to buff my makeup for me! I asked if he has a problem with my MAC and he replied, 'Why would I?' And he grabbed my brush and buffed my makeup for me. I'm so proud!

My boy thinks I'm insane. He said he doesn't really want to know how much MAC/makeup I own, because it would hurt him to see how much money has been spent on it. Ever since he started working retail stock for a department store, it's gotten interesting. He doesn't mind what I buy or wear, he actually helps pick colors out, so long as I don't start to look like the overly tanned to the point of orange girls that work at the MAC counter, haha. He has helped me spend less on it too (he's really blunt and tells me when something looks like poo on me, and convinces me that being limited edition is not a reason to buy something).

Oh and yesterday he gave me $200 to spend on the Barbie collection.. so I'm guessing he's okay with it. He also fully understands the words LIMITED EDITION and also understands the reprocussions of not getting those desired items. But he spends more on his computer and other tech gear so its cool. We both have passions that need fuelling.

My boyfriend is used to it. I am not a collector and I don't buy every LE item that comes out. Like from Barbie I only bought 1 eyeshadow. I recently purchased a tool box traincase to store all of my makeup in and it nearly doesn't all fit! He doesn't mind that I buy so much makeup, it's a hobby to me and he spends just as much if not more buying xbox 360 games and the go live subscriptions, so I'd say we're square. Besides, we both earn our own living so it's really no ones business what I do with my own money.
