Your general thoughts on the Sundressing Collection

Meh to this and Sweetie Cake. I got Pink Cabana l/s as a B2M but I'm not in love with the way it looks on. I'm not too excited about any of the upcoming collections which is fine because there's still tons of permanent stuff I want.

I only just got my items, and so far it seems I could've saved on Fountainbleu b/c Softwash Grey is more the colour I was hoping it would be, but more on the purple-y side...but I'll keep it anyway since I don't have many blues. Otherwise, I'm liking it because I don't have a lot of neutral eyeshadows (the Inventive quad and Honesty e/s are the only ones), but the only one I'm really excited about it In Living Pink b/c I missed Living Pink and don't have Expensive Pink (which I'll definitely be getting sometime!).

In other words, if I had more neutral shadows, I might've passed on almost everything except for the pigments and Pink Cabana l/s - it matches my HG liner exactly, just what I was looking for!

I only got the 2 pigments (didn't care for anything else in the collection) and was kind of ho-hum til I actually wore them today. I really like them and was surprised at how soft & pretty they looked on yet not blah and boring. I paired them with Nocturnal Plum Chromacake used as a liner to make the purple in the Softwash Grey pop a bit.

i love relaxing!
i need to play with softwash grey a bit more. love gold dusk from go!

pink cabana is awesome. i hate to gloss over it to lose anything. but glamoursun looks hot over it too....

and light as air is great.
i was "bleh" on the rest. i may need to look more closely at the beauty powders and summer neutral

I liked the eyeshadows much more than I thought I would, and the 2 lip products I thought I'd love (Pink Cabana and Glamoursun) less than I thought I would. Go figure!

I like the Sundressing collection. I got the two pigments, which I really love, 3 e/s, 2 l/s, and 2 l/g. I think the eyeshadows are ok, but I wish In-Living Pink was a little less sheer (I don't have Expensive Pink to compare it to). I am going to try it over Canton Candy paint tomorrow and see how it is. Relaxing is a pretty neutral shadow. I haven't tried Fountainbleu yet.

I think the lippies are the best. Tres Cher is super pretty. I also got Languish, Pink Cabana, and Coppertime.

As soon as I de-pot some more shadows, and am going to back-to MAC the other l/s since the last haul completely drained my bank account!

I'm still waiting to receive my pigments and the sunsparked beauty powder, but from the swatches I've seen online, I am can't wait. Initially, I wasn't going to get anything from Sundressing, but Gold Dusk looks so wearable and the beauty powders are supposed to be very different from the ones in the CD collection. I may even go back and pick up the Shell beauty powder before it disappears.

I really liked the sweetie cake collection and got a lot of stuff. Only got the gold dusk from this one and not sure I really like it. I want to get the summerwear quad though- it goes on sale at my Nordies tomorrow.

i really really really disliked the collection. this is the first collection that i had no interest in getting ANY of it. i didnt like the pigments, i didnt like the shadows, they are way too pale for my skin. i hated the lipsticks... they all looked pretty horrible on me. it seems they only had you NW15s in mine when coming up with the colors. im sure the colors look amazing on lighter skin tones, but def not good colors for olivy old me!!!

I was disapointed too! The colors I thought I had to have I didn't like (except for In Living Pink) and the colors I thought were ugly (Gold Dusk and Relaxing) ended up being my favs! The beauty powders were just meh, and Fountain Bleu and Softwash grey looked so ugly to me and I was expecting them to be wonderful. Lipsticks I didn't like and I only got 1 lipglass and I don't really looove it. Hopefully Lure will be better!

i thought the colors were so BLAH. they didn't seem like anything special. the worst item was the quad- the shades were all so frosty white-ish except for lightweight black. i ordered the pigments, softwash grey was pretty in person even though it reminded me of some other product i can't remember the name of. i'm hoping gold dusk is great because i didn't get to see it in person before ordering it because it was soldout everywhere (i'm hoping that's a good sign). anyways, i purchased enough at sweetie cake so it's okay with me that the items aren't that cool.

I loved this collection a lot more than i thought i would. Loved it a lot more than Culturebloom & Sweetie Cake.

I love love love Relaxing, Summer Neutral & Bateau e/s. Sundressing & Apres Sol l/s. Glamoursun & Tres Cher are hot. The Beauty Powder is nice too, the shimmer shows up better on my sister...i think it compliments people with normal skin...shes younger so her skin hasnt gone crazy like mine yet *lol*. I spent mad money on this collection...i love it. Its just what i needed for the summer.

I love the Gold Dusk pigment. I use it for eyes, cheeks and lips. It gives a subtle glow to skin. The eyeshadow In Living Pink is great as blush to me (NC 15). I combine Relaxing (base) Gold Dusk and Fountainbleu for eyes. I will buy Tanarama Lipstick.

I like the collection, but I also agree that for summer I'm expecting more vivid colors.
