Your general thoughts on the Sundressing Collection

I was expecting to be extremely tempted by this collection but IRL, not so much.

Gold dusk pigment was stunning and the standout. Softwash grey was interesting but I didn't get as I was unsure it will be flattering/versatile on me (I have a sample on the way).

The lip products (and I am usually a lipstick/lipgloss addict) really didn't excite me, and I expected the lipsticks to really grab me but they didn't. Pink Cabana struck me as a Dainty Cake wanna be, and Sundressing was pretty but I find that formula drying, Tanarama was way too light and I think would wash everyone out.

The shadows---veluxe pearls always tempt me but In Living Pink didn't seem to have a lot of color payoff for me, and the other colors weren't particularly unique compared to permanent colors (which I can get in pan form so preferrable).

All I got was gold dusk. More money to save for she shines pigments so that's a good thing.

I bought summer neutral... Its such a nice color for the summer. Its green without being to flashy or brown like the other mac e/s.

Well I fell in love with it... me who though the summerdressing collection was boring....

stupid mac, stealing all my money!!!

I bought only the two pigments. I love Gold Dusk, and like the grey one alot more than I thought I would. It looks very blue/purple on me.
I was pretty bored with the rest of it.

i was kinda disappointed..i got pink cabana and coppertime..pink cabana is especially pretty..has an interesting greenish reflect to it....

gold dusk is a light gold..pretty boring imo...u can get that effect with other items...i think one of the pearlizers is identical to it. the grey pigment espcially disappointed...the grey doesnt go on as strong as i hoped..really it looks like a darker cornflower. i have to play with my sample i guess..but i wasnt overly excited at the store. i thought it would be more gray. the eyeshadows are either close to what has been out before or just not exciting..lol. yea...i would get pink cabana though!

I got both pigments, and like Gold Dusk more than I thought I would. It seems very versatile! Also got Relaxing and Summer Neutral e/s, but wish I had gotten In Living Pink. I should have played with the l/s more, as I am really thinking I should have gotten Pink Cabana. How does Pink Cabana look on relatively fair skin with yellow/green undertones? I'm worried it might be too bright.

i haven't gotten any of my stuff since it's all at home waiting for me...
my friend did swatches for me of the collection and the eyeshadows, lipsticks, and l/gs weren't that interesting.

softwash grey looks a LOT like haze e/s which was surprising since i thought it would be a boring color. gold dusk is a beautiful pigment, it's nothing like gold pigment, nor anything like golden lemon, nor like gorgeous gold. mac has definitely stepped it up when it comes to pigments as of recent because the sweetie cake pigments are nothing like the standard/pro ones.

Surprisingly I did get Coppertime l/s on my B2M stuff,... but usually I am batty over lipglasses but not this time,..the only one I really had wanted was glamoursun and it kinda came off with a blu-ish tint on me and it did not look as good on me as in the tube,...

I did love Gold dusk,.. it is such a sheer light gold color and the texture is great,.. kinda reminds me of a baby sister to Spring up,. which I had a back up of,..I got a big sample of Softwsh grey,.. but I wasnt real impressed with it,.. as with any colors that may make me look like a bruise,..

I did get In Living Pink,. this is a beautiful color,.. it looks like my Say Yeah and Expensive Pink got it on and had a baby,.... great blendability and goes with so many other colors. The rest of the shadows were nothing special for me,.. to mild/midtoned,....and I have plenty of those so I passed,..

I went all thinking I would buy both of the beauty powders and really only like the Shell BP which looks amazing on,.. but the other was a disappointment,..

I went nuts over the liquidlast liners,.. these are rocking my world and I am thanking the MAC god for being so generous that they are permanent,...I am in total love,. I think I saw my fluidlines picketing in protest last night?

I was also suprised by Light as Air powerpont,.. I had never really paid any attention to those before but now,...I do have one and plan to get more.

I went the counter on the release date and got absoluteluy nothing fromn the collection. Then...I slept on it and went back and got the pigs. I am wearing gold dusk today as a wash and a chocolate brown inthe crease and outer corners. The gold dusk looks nice---but nothing spectacular. I get more of my desired effect with an old Loreal loose e/s Ihave froma few year back that was discontinued.....

I was disappointed w/this collection; I purchased nothing. Upon release I saw everything except for the Bateau e/s (store didn't get it), so I ordered that color ( I figured its brown, how can I go wrong) w/my Y & Kei stuff. I got my order today, I haven't tried on the e/s. I liked Sweetie Cake, I haven't worn them yet but when I swatched them at the store, they looked beautiful. I'm really looking forward to the Lure/Hooked & the Nordstrom Anniversary collections; I hope they don't disappointment too.
