There's a teal liner by Cargo that looks very close to Undercurrent but I forgot the exact name. I think it's "Swimming" or something.

I went to my local unveiling and bought these:

Blushes:
Her Blooming Cheek
My Highland Honey

Dazzleglass Creme:
Passing Fancy
Gone Romancin'

Lipstick:
Cut a Caper

Pearlglide Liner:
Undercurrent

Gone Romancin' and Undercurrent = GORGEOUS!!!

I absolutely love all the others that I bought too. I think I'm going to buy back-ups of Cut A Caper, Gone Romancin', and Undercurrent.
I also want to pick up Black Swan e/l and The Family Crest Pigment on the release date.

Is there any pink in Cut a Caper? I don't normally go for these shades but...

Yes Angel, there is definite pink! I'm NW20 with light lips, and although it IS a coral, I found it to be well balanced with pink on me, especially with a more sheer application!

Ic can't decide about TFC, I normally hate brown/bronze/generally warm colors, but this looks soo…new? different? special?
I don't know

I don't understand why I'm always like "I need to see this in person before committing to buy" with pigments while I have no problems ordering lipglasses/lipsticks/powders/etc…what's wrong with me?
I typically hate warm shades too (I've never worn a neutral eye in my life, I don't think), but trust me- TFC is amazing! For a blackened bronze, it's surprisingly cool toned. I'd be backing it up if I wasn't staying strong for Shontay (

PS: It is different and very special! Never seen anything quite like it.

Thanks layla…I think I'm gonna get it

I just found out the second part of the collection is gonna be released in december here, so my wallet will have a little time to breathe between them, lool.

That's especially good since I just came back from an expedition to my counter…I just wanted my beloved viva glam lipglass…I ended up spending 70€

You better, girly.

I'm undecided on this collection all over again. Even though I have seen the items up close and I've taken pics, excitement has died down. I feel like I need to play with this stuff again. I hope I can get to the Pro store this weekend.

I know I'm getting some pearlglides. I want Undercurrent and Black Line. Now, Black Swan has jumped on my list. I still want the 6 Beauties shadow palette, but I am considering Twist of Tartan as well. Even though I have some similar colors, I like having them all together. I have scratched the blush kit. I don't want Smooth Harmony. I may just get Peachtwist and Melba separately, but I'm not dying for either one. I always planned on skipping the lipsticks because they bore me. Same goes for the single shadows. I am, however, considering Romancin' dg creme. I remember that one surprised me. It's also so confusing that MHH blush looks so good on Erin's hand and on others but it was a chalky mess on me. That pisses me off, tbh because I had that on my list initially.

Oh and I decided to skip MN pigment. I really have no use for it. TFC I was sure I would get, but I'm thinking is there fallout problems with it? I noticed some glitter in it. I dunno, I'll most likely get it anyway because it's so unique. I am glad I have Later pigment already.

Thanks a lot or your pic and description. maybe I will try this one as well then. I usually don't use corals as well

I went to my first MAC unveiling party for this..and I gotta say I was impressed by the event..if only the mac store was a little bit bigger. They really did a good job with the models, music and drinks. It really got me in the holiday mood, although it's not even halloween yet. The only downside is that is was way way too crowded to actually check out the entire collection. And I didn't get any freebies..at my store..like a gift bag or poster. Boo.

Also I found it strange that the eyeshadow palettes are almost identical to last years. Um hello?? Is someone at MAC snorting something or did they just want to repromote last years purple and neutrals palette? I was also surprised that the actual palettes have fabric on the front and not the plastic case. Interesting choice.

I just love the plaid, so I had to get one of the bags..I got the violet eye bag..can't remember what it's called..but I really wanted to try out macroviolet fluidline and it's pretty good. Not as purple as I imagined but that is also a plus because it is more low key for everyday purple eyeliner. I LOVE THE LITTLE BAG. yeah. I also got violet pigment in the new LITTLE bottle. I refuse to pay full price for the new packaging of these. And I got the 209 mini version and was impressed with this eyeliner brush..only it is a bit small so that makes it more of a challenge to put on the eyeliner because of the handle ..it's tiny or i have really big hands.
smiles.gif
Anyways I thought this was a good price for everything included and it was really hard to decide between the teal or violet set or the lip sets.

I also got semi precious ..the burgandy eyeshadow in the color collection..and I am really impressed with it. The other colors didn't really swatch that unique for me..I have a lot of greys and golds and greens and I think that they are a bit pricey, so I didn't splurge.

I did splurge on Sir Teddy..well I don't really need a teddy bear on my keychain, but it's an awesome cause...for $12 you can help children living with AIDS/HIV. They also had another bag with Viva glam V lipstick and gloss which was GORGEOUS. Did i mention that i love the bags?? Even the brush sets are tempting, and I have most of the full size versions of these. ugh.

The lipsticks and and glosses ..yeah you know I just feel like MAC has put out so many versions of the same stuff. What's the point? Unless you missed out on the earlier versions, jazzed, made to order, aristocat, etc...but yeah I felt like a lot of this stuff was just underwhelming and reminded me of previous collections..especially the eye shadow palettes. big disappointment there..oh well..check out for yourself and enjoy the packaging cause it's sooo cute.

I love the green in 6 Twists of Tartan. Any possible dupes for it?
I heard that swimming eyeshadow is a possible dupe. Also sephora (their own brand) and urban decay have a lot green eyeshadows that come close to it..maybe?

I stopped by the Pro Store today. There were a lot of people there. Usually I only see 1 or 2 people in there when I go. It was pretty busy. None of the SAs came up to me which was fine. I did get there a lot later than when I usually go. I left my phone at home and I didn't want to go all the way down there just to find that they didn't have the collection. Anyway, I didn't really try much. I skipped right over the blushes, having knocked them off my list about a week ago. I only tried the Aristocat looking color and Soft Dazzle. I liked the Aristocat-looking color and it seemed warmer than Aristocat but I bought a similar color at VS when Fabulous Felines launched. Soft Dazzle was nice light peachy color but I would only wear it in the summer so a skip for me. I want colors for right now!

I loved the texture of the Tartan single eye shadows! It felt so smooth on my hand. I have very dry hands and it felt like I had just moisturized them. I can't wait to try these on the lids. The colors were just okay. Nothing extraordinary. I am not really into greys but I had to swatch the Glamora Castle. It was a bluish gray on me. But I did apply it with a q-tip and I did swipe the blue stripe along with the gray but so I don't know if it would always have a blue cast to it. I didn't think I would get much use out of it since I'm not a gray blue girl. I did get the Peachy color. I really just loved the texture and wanted to try it. I had to swatch heavily to get the peachy part on me.

I pretty much stuck to my list and didn't try much else. I did kind of like the warm lip kit and the warm lip palette. I like the idea of the blush palette for travel but I think the colors are too similar to each other. Now if it had Sunbasque in it . . .

I got:
all the eye palettes
Follow Your Fantasy e/s
Lord it Up Pearl glide
Black Swan Pearl Glide
The Family Crest pigment

They never got in Moonlight Night so I still have to try and get it. Bummer! I'm still debating backing up my Black Line. It's a great color and I love the Pearl Glide Formula. I don't know why they don't just make Peal Glides permanent. Now if only I could decide which palette to use for tomorrow.

Which 2 eye palettes are your favorites?

If it's not calling out to you, I say pass.

It's not doing anything for me, so I'm passing even though I think it's gorgeous.
