Which 2 eye palettes are your favorites?

I know this is a boring answer but probably the neutral and the metallic ones. 6 Lassies?? and Reelers and Rockers. The Neutral colors all work together and will be a great go to palette. Reelers and Rockers - I just love metallics. I haven't played with everything yet but the Twists of Tartan - I love many of the colors but they just don't really work together, IMO. Bright Kiwi Green, Gold, Burgundy, Navy??? These could have been single shadows. I will have to mix & match these with my other shadows. I did try my Peachy shadow. I keep blanking on the name. It shows up okay. I would have like a darker peach but it does look pretty. I just added Lord It Up p/g and it looks good together.

I like the Twists of Tartan because I am always trying to think outside the box when it comes to color combos. I, too was confused at the colors they put together for the palette, but that's what turns me on about it now.

How would you rate the pigmentation of the shadows in each palette, overall?

Well, I went to the PRO store today and unfortunately, this is the one collection they didn't put out a week early. They did let me look at the sets and put things on hold. I ended up pre-ordering Play It Cool and Reelers & Rockers, because once I swatched R&R, I fell totally in love. Gaellic Gold in particular is a really beautiful colour.

So now I have to go back next week to pick them up.

I was a little cheesed that, despite the fact that they had the colour collection stuff sitting off to the side (visible from where the sets were displayed), they would neither let me pre-order it nor even look at it. I guess they're getting pretty serious about not letting information out, which I understand, but I still feel a little miffed that, given the fact that they all know me, I couldn't at least get a peak. Oh well. They'll get my money anyway...

Yes Angel, there is definite pink! I'm NW20 with light lips, and although it IS a coral, I found it to be well balanced with pink on me, especially with a more sheer application!

I think I like corals more with pink in them....
I guess I will have to check out Cut A Caper then!

Anyone have Viva Glam V lipstick and gloss? I am considering the Viva Glam lip kit...I want a neutral pink for my collection, since I lost a Clinique nuetral I loved (Pink Beach) and another Clinique one I used up (Baby Kiss)...

I can't find any lip swatches of Viva Glam V in either the lipstick or gloss on Specktra

...if anyone has either one can you post a swatch of it? Thanks

I typically hate warm shades too (I've never worn a neutral eye in my life, I don't think), but trust me- TFC is amazing! For a blackened bronze, it's surprisingly cool toned. I'd be backing it up if I wasn't staying strong for Shontay (

).

PS: It is different and very special! Never seen anything quite like it.

Somehow I still can't get used to the new changes. I don't like that the User CP is gone and the heads are smaller. lol

So, I went to MAC and got the 2 pigments I wanted (TFC and MN), plus a paint and a brush. Didn't get the teddy bear because they said it will be available only in the 28th (along with the other part of the collection - brush, eye and lip sets, etc), but I could pre-order... I decided I wouldn't pre-order and just go back on the 28th.

Then I went to college, and when I was back home I decided to open the pigments to take a look but TFC tipped over when I thought the lid was closed (now I realize it is not closing!) and there was pigment all over the place.

Thankfully the loss was not that big. I thought I had lost everything when I saw myself and things around me black from the pigment, but it was only 1/4 of it.

It is sooo hard to read and it never opens on the 'newest post' but an older one on the page. But what matters is that it's hard to see and read...and I feel like the pages open real slow now

When it was down, I actually went to the old "specktra backup" board but of course, no one was there

I keep wanting the Dashing Lassies palette, I get the most wear out of neutrals...BUT...I have 3 of the 6 colours! No bueno

Decided I'd stick with getting the Play it Cool palette! It reminds me of an extended version of the Togethernes mes from ITG which I love. Plus I regret not getting the Sorceress palette from last year and dont want to regret not getting this one

Hmmm....I just looked at swatches from last years holiday coll...damn wish I would have gotten more from it! The Sexpot piggy set was amazing! I didnt pay much attention to LE stuff then unfortunately
