To be honest, I've never been a big fan of Chanel blushers because none of them are pigmented enough for me ( with the exception of Tweed Fuchsia <3 ). When Sam used Espiegle, it looked slightly orange IMO. If this is Reflex renamed then it will not work for me because Reflex turned orange. I hope it isn't though because I really don't expect Chanel recycling a previous product...they aren't MAC =D (I feel like MAC recycles stuff all the time...and I'm not talking about their Bac2Mac program >_<).

Finally watched the video and I am afraid Espiegle and the lippie might be to orange for me :(
But yay, something off my list for a change ;)

Omg I'm so with you ladies! Guerlain Spring looks amazing. I saw swatches of the black-cased Rouge Gs for spring on a blog somewhere and they are out-of-control gorgeous. #72 Rose Desir will be mine, for sure. YSL spring looks up my alley as well, lots of bright colors. Compared to Dior Spring, which if I recall is rather grey and unexpectedly neutral for spring.

^^Aren't the Rouge G's to die for? I cannot wait! I am also eying Lancome's Ultra Lavande collection as well, so many pretty purples! I'm surprised that I still cannot find any swatches for Chanel's Spring collection =S.

^^ I don't find the scent to be heavy at all, it's a floral scent to my nose. When applied, the scent dissipates after 10 minutes or so but if you have a sensitive nose, it may bother you =).

Swatches of the e/s quint and the eye liner! I'm excited for the palette! I just bought MUFE Rock For Ever Aqua Eyes set which has a dark grey liner so I'll pass the liner here.

The quint is gorgeous!!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on this. The violet shade looks interesting, sort of a taupe-y purple.

Miss QQ, thanks for the link. I'm pretty sure I can pass on the quint, the colours look gorgeous, but they all look so frosty. I'm still waiting to see more pics of the quad! And I agree with Elegant, the lipstick in the video didn't look that great, but the blush did. I think I remember Reflex, but recall never even wanting to try it out because it looked too orange. The blush in the video looked like it had some pink in it. I guess we'll have to wait to see!

The polishes look so nice though, all three of them! And I'm still eager to see Jersey Rose and the peach lippie. For the Canadian ladies, the SA at my counter said they would be going for their training around mid January, but would probably start to get the testers in before that. I'm betting from past collections that it may be a bit sooner!

I will probably still get the quint. It doesn't look to bad to me. I have a feeling those first two colors are under direct lighting, because the other three down the side of her arm don't seem that pearly/frosty. I'm on the fence about the grey liner. She says it's not worth it, but I really do like Chanel's liners. Meh, I might just get it anyway!

That's what I'm doing too. I've never bought anything from Guerlain, but the pics of their Spring collection are really pretty, I think:

I'm a complete Guerlain fanatic... and I will totally be checking out this new collection!

But enough of that on the Chanel thread...
That blush looked a little yellow on Sam, which might bode well for me. She's very pinky underneath, and I'm very yellow. I wonder if it'll go gold enough on me...

I'm a little sad about the quad... it reminds me of a combo of murano and stupendous (with that awful light color). If that green is like murano, I'm going to pass. I hardly use that quad as it is.

Ugh, I finally looked at the link and I like the quad a lot. But unfortunately Guerlain loves to add a lot and very strong scent of violets to all their products. For a week I need to keep them open and they still burn a bit on my skin.
But their powders are

So tempting.

I am also still eyeing the grey liner, I always like them very much and grey is always nice for day wear and meetings.

Ooohhh thank you very much Miss QQ. I agree on the excitement about the palette! Maybe they are a bit shiny or maybe it's because of the lighting, so let the swatches arrive in order to confirm that! I am dying to see some pictures of the lipsticks and lip liners

Thanks, Miss QQ for the swatches! I am also dying to see the lippie products. The quint colors are lovely, but look too frosted for my taste. I'm sure they will look gorg on others. I still love the looks of the blush, but can't wait to see more swatches of that, too. I love that you ladies scope out all of the "deets" on this collection ;)
