Me too LOL. I do love how she showed the different coats. Although I suppose it's not very original for $23? Here is more Black Pearl: http://www.alllacqueredup.com/2010/12/chanel-black-pearl-nail-polish.html#more-4301

Hello ladies, been reading you for awhile and decided to get registered to let you all know that Nakkar lipgloss is nothing special unfortunately. On lips is very transparent, barely visible and its one of those cases that tube of gloss is very bright, but on the lips is nothing like it. Also it is not fuschia or raspberry at all

I'm actually very dissapointed, tinted vaseline no less for me. Its for sure is going back. Jersey Rose reminded me Mademoiselle, but lighter, transparent version. I really like it. Coquette is nice wearable pink with coral lipstick. Would be great for spring or summer!

Thank you so much for this!!! I already have Pink Teaser which is fairly pigmented and Pink Pulsion which is pretty sheer so I had a feeling I didn't need another one. I'll stick to the RAEGs. For some odd reason even though I hate sparkle I'm attracted to the other glossimer from MUABB. I need to resist that too UGH!

OK apparantly I can't post the word p o o p because my thread keeps not posting. Even as part of my quote post. UGH.

Agghhh p o o p! Now that I've looked at Black Pearl on my desktop computer instead of just my iPhone I really think I like it. It doesn't look all that metallic right? And I don't know why I'm so strangely attracted to Peche Nacree when it looks like such a broing dupeable shade...right?

And why on earth aren't there more swatches out there of the lipsticks yet....I'm dying.....

Also would like to add that Chanel pallette is not cream as someone here suggested, it is regular formula, fine milled. On the eyes eyeshadow are quite sheer with subtle shimmer, very buildable and do look sophisticated as Chanel would. I had my doubts about pallette and was prepared for the worst looking at swatches on the web, but alas shadows are gorgeous. If you like your shadows very pigmented I dont think you'd be happy with pallette, but I believe if they were regular or heavy pigmented, they would look tacky and we all know Chanel is all about class. Palette is keeper!

My goodies arrived today!! The quint is gorgeous and I can't wait to use it. The polishes are so pretty. I know we all expected Black Pearl to be stellar, but Pearl Drop and Peche Nacree are too. I wish the weekend would hurry up and get here so I can do swatches!

Evening ladies!

I too am loving the look of Peche Nacree! And I like that it's a pinker peach! So I think that'll come home with me! I'm definitely skipping Black Pearl though. I have and love Steel, but I think the tealish hue on Black Pearl won't look all that great with my skintone.

Elegant, thanks so much for the pic and swatch of Jersey Shore Rose, that'll be mine as well! Natyk, thanks for the reviews. Your comparison of Jersey Rose to Mademoiselle got me all excited, because I adore Mademoiselle, but don't reach for it often because I do gravitate towards softer colours, therefore, Jersey Rose sounds perfect!

ETA, Karin, just saw your post, and glad you like Peche Nacree (well in the bottle at least). I hate waiting for launches here!

If Peche Nacree is sheer I will pass. Someone posted a link of pedicure done with Pearl Drop and it is gorgeous! I love Mademoiselle and JR looks like a less intense version of it, so I'm not sure if I need it. I want to see swatches of Flamboyante right now too!

Welcome!!! We're always glad to hear from Chanel lovers, new members are always welcome!

I'm SO bummed to hear that about Nakkar. Mine will be here tomorrow and it sounds like it might be heading right back, blah! Your description of Jersey Rose is exactly what I was hoping for and Coquette sounds lovely. Thanks for sharing!

(Christa, I'm totally with you...I NEED lipstick swatches! Karla's are so helpful for me too, hopefully she'll be posting them sometime soonish.)

Here's a link I don't think we've seen yet (swatches and review on the quad):

Thanks for that link. Not liking the sound of glitter fallout, it's why I've sworn off their baked quads. Have you experienced much fallout with this quad elegant?

Well just checking in for some Chanel uplifting. I have the stomach flu and have been being sick since 10pm last night....which is fabulous because my eye surgery is tomorrow. I am not cancelling it!!!

My husband came home early from the night shift this morning because he has it too. Hopefully the kids will be OK. Grammie picked them up first thing this morning and now she's stuck taking them to their Dr's appt today but their other grandma is meeting them too to help out.

I'm definately waiting on the quad since it's not in the budget and perm, WOW it really is similar to Garden Party which I don't have. I'm happy I can say no to the glossimers now. Just wanting all 4 lipsticks is my downfall now plus she is already holding Confidence RAEG for me and the matching Rouge Allure. I think I should be smart and avoid the np too since they are perm.

Well hope your day is better than mine gals

I'm disappointed to hear Nakkar is sheer but it is good for my wallet.

mrslid, I hope you are well for the surgery tomorrow. Don't stress yourself. Coincidentally my friend, a fellow makeup addict, is doing the same eye procedure tomorrow too for both her eyes. Is it the season of flu? I'm down with a cold since Saturday.

I want the quint but I'll wait on the quad since it is perm. Yes, the quad and Garden Party are so similar, except that the quad's two pink shades look more coral than those in Garden Party.
