Has anyone bought from maclady777?
She has 181 100% pos feedback, but before I pay I'd like to ask you guys, because I'd hate to get ripped off and am vary way of eBay MAC. She apparently hasn't sold anything since March 2010.
She seems very legit but I got a realllly good deal so I wanted to make sure. I shot her a message saying basically "no offense meant, but do you guarantee the authenticity of your mac items"?
Anyone have experience with her? Thanks in advance! :]

Edit: She replied to my message saying that she guarantees the authenticity of her items, and buys them only from counter or the official MAC website. Hope that helps someone!

i realise now i should have checked on here more diligently before making purchases on ebay! i think after my good experience with julie0150463 i just trusted everybody.

i just did a few searches on this thread and the specktra forum generally, so i think some of the other sellers i purchased from were trustworthy sellers (i.e. 123julie_green, charleyandemily, makeupemporium1, mybookitty), but i was wondering if anyone could tell me about any of the following:

bongolian
our_2_princesses
etherial*angel
missvcat
gkatsis26
noname7473
xpointer

i think i will probably throw out anything i'm not completely sure of just to be safe.

i've bought from xpointer and it was fine.
the one seller on ebay i keep going back to is my-boo-kitty, she is fantastic! no fakes, good prices and great service.

Best advice, if in doubt, walk away...
I bought a Grey glitter from etherial*angel, which I am fairly certain is fake. She is very friendly and responds to emails but is stalling when I ask her for a copy of the receipt. She says she has someone buying MAC from the warehouse sales which she in turn sells on eBay. I'm not familiar with how the warehouse sales work and whether or not it would be feasible that an old glitter like Grey could possibly show up in such a sale, but she was very willing to provide detailed pictures before I bought, and she didn't have a crazy number of the glitters for sale, so I felt somewhat safe. Upon receiving the glitter, I noticed one of the hallmarks of a fake container; a fat lid with a shaved edge. I let her know, and now she's hemming and hawing and giving excuses about why she can't provide a copy of the MAC receipt, so take that as you will.

MakeupEmporium1 on eBay is my favourite seller. I've never had a problem with them and I've been ordering for over a year.

Hello everyone! I'm new here.. I'm also inexperienced with buying MAC online, so I found this thread very helpful
smiles.gif

But because the info here can be quite overwhelming for a beginner, I tried to compile lists, one containing those sellers that are mentioned in a positive context, and another containing those that are mentioned in a negative context. On the "positive list" I've added some basic sellers' info as well as links to their e-bay stores (those that I could find..)
I've also added comments from this thread which can help to see why people consider a particular seller good or bad...

So if anyone is interesting, here are the links:

MAC sellers on e-bay - Positive list

MAC sellers on e-bay - Negative list

Also, if you have any ideas on how I can improve the lists - let me know, or if you wanna improve them yourself, feel free!

I'd like to know on what you based your list please.
I have sold on Ebay for over 10 years for example, I am a top rated seller: sberger11, have 100 percent positive and you put me in the fake sellers!!!
I got 2 negatives over a year ago from a girl who was mad that I didn't lower the prices for her and you are ruining my reputation her. This is not nice.
I also saw some name of good sellers on the bad list. :(
Before putting such a list please, get more information for all of us Ebay buyers and sellers. Thanks!

Other97 needs to go on the negative list, too. All the items I got from her recently (a pigment, eyeshadows and a Superglass, all LE) were obvious fakes. 2009 batch code on a LE eyeshadow from an earlier collection? (Thunder) yet she still insists it's all genuine? The eyeshadows, despite supposedly being from a few different years, all have the same 'faults' with the pots which other, known genuine, ones from the same collections don't have. The pigment bore the obvious hallmark of fakes and there were several differences with the Superglass, including label font and height of tube. She even got my negative feedback hurriedly removed by ebay, even though it was factual, had no bad language and did not comment on her personally or break any of ebay's rules. Makes me very dubious of many sellers who seem to have the same range of LE eyeshadows too.

I've scanned her lists and comments. And her information is a compliation of every negative AND positive ebayer mentioned on this entire thread and the comments left for or against them. I know this because I personally went through the first 5 pages of this thread and found the exact same comments copy and pasted from this thread and added to her list based on what the poster thought was positive or negative. She just made a list to serve as an easier navigation tool since this thread has had many posts. If you scroll through the pages... I think that you may find the "culprit" of who actually thought you should have been on the negative list. Hope that helps!
