omg on the creepy dudes in VS - so true. Last time I was in there, one of those creepy guys was leaning up against the bra drawer where my size was texting (prolly taking pictures of bras, panties, women! - it was by the dressing room!) - I didn't even bother asking him to move. dh does 'the look' thing too but he says some men it doesn't bother at all.
ya'll love Coquette - so its a must have now. I swear none of the eye creams work after a week at best.

Oh the posts here have been giving me some chuckles!
Michelle, I can't even imagine the things you saw/heard working at VS! We only just got VS here a few months before Christmas. I'm pretty sure the prices are fairly inflated here, so I'm thinking in the future I might work out the shipping/duty charges and see if it's more worthwhile ordering online. But then it's nice to be able to try things on.
Elegant, I hope you end up liking Coquette if you do get it! It's not often that we enable the Queen Enabler! For me it was a suprise that it ended up being one of my favourite items from the collection!
And I wanted to provide an update on the Dermalogica eye cream, I've tried the multivitamin power firm and like it. It's not really a cream texture as much as a strange gel type texture, but it really seems to make the area "appear" smoother. I'm wondering if it's not some sort of silicone based product that is filling in the lines. I'll be getting a full sized tube, and will also get their Intensive Eye Repair for days that I just want to really hydrate the area.

^^I am cracking up at this VS talk. Oh, the memories! I worked there when I was about 19-20. Seriously, men would come in and ask if we could "try on" stuff so they could see what it would look like on their "girlfriend" that they were buying it for. Puh-leeze. Gag.
Or the time that a couple was in the dressing room together and . . . you can only guess. Too funny! I do like their makeup and they have some really pretty things (if you can get past the creepy pervs)

Oh my goodness Michelle! Men can be such dogs. I worked in a large chain hardware store, and we had to wear these really ugly skirts, and even though they looked like potatoe sacks, I cannot tell you how many guys felt the need to comment on how our back side looked in them. And the worst part was that most of the girls that worked there were under 18. Oh ya, and at least a few times, some of the girls were flashed, I mean text book style, trench coat on and FLASH! Most of the poor girls were really upset by it, but one time the girl that got flashed just looked down at the guys bits and started to laugh!

Well, I used some of my new Chanel loot yesterday (I was volunteering in my daughter's classroom -- like they care!). I'm going to try out Ming today -- it comes in such a small, cute little tube. I think I was expecting it to look like the RAEG. I am having serious lipstick/lipgloss storage crisis! My containers are overflowing. Does this indicate a problem??

Hello ladies. I'm posting pictures side by side Armani 518 and Chanel Boy. Both lipsticks very sheer and give hint of color. After wearing for few hours each i say I prefer consistency of Chanel. It s supermoisturising and it stays that way, while 518 tend to absorb by lips afterwhile. Color as you see Chanel has hint of peach or warm rose while Armani is cool rose. On the lips I again prefer Chanel because its accentuate natural lip color while Armani certainly adds cool pink tint. Chanel is more universal color. On the hand Chanel is on the left, Armani on the right.

Elegant-one, you're welcome I'm on the fence about Armani though. I purchased from Nordstrom without trying on (they didnt have tester). Cooler pink even sheer is not my favorite but mostly what I dislike is kinda sticky gooye feeling on my lips after hour or so of wearing. Chanel feels just divine. Also, to really show color on my hand I had to put 4 or 5 layes of lipsticks, so as you can imagine it is very sheer... I know its Chanel thread but even though I was happy to acquire Boy at local Belks Chanel, I really excited to find my new love "Nars Tzigane" lipstick from new spring collection. It reminds me of darker, more brown version of Peregrina. I'm surprised there is no buzz about this lipstick as for me it is new HG color.

marajode.. I am really liking the Miami Vice Blush.. and the Coral is gorgeous too.. both look beautiful with Coquette ! the blushes do rate a

The Hourglass line is of excellent quality.. and it was recommended by a derm specialist for my fading tan.. the bronze side anyway, but both sides are beautiful and not oily.. a great bronzey/corally flush and just what I need right now... I did put some RougeG on top tho!
Meggy.. not a problem, if you latch onto an extra I would take it, if not.. no worries.. lots of lil dupes still around. In fact I just got in some new product.. not for release until next year but the textures and colours are heavenly and have all the qualities we look for.. colour, texture, durability as well as a lovely fragrance -- not waxy or overpowering.
bis.. I don't know, DF is getting meager all over the globe.. at least from what I can see.. I need to go to Schiphol.. that one's loaded

Elegant, I beg to differ but I did not find the 518 sticky.. it feels smooth and lovely on my lips... but then, maybe there's an element of body chemistry.. dunno.
I have tested Madere.. I love all the NARS mattes and love them all.. till Madere came along. It is way too pale for most women, unless you really want a pale pale 60's look.. but I don't know if someone of my advanced age could pull it off without looking like I had a toe tag on
If you are looking for pale and matte.. try Tashkent or Bangkok which is a bit pinker and just oh so lovely !
