Elegant.. lol. you know it sista.. I am a dancin with my puppies..
true story.. when on vacay, they were playing caribbean music by the pool/beach at night, and some people were dancing -- so this little.. and I mean little teeny tiny old man asked me to dance with him.. and I did. I thought, geez, this lil old guy can sure dance the merengue cause he had all the right moves (it's like a fast limp..lololol).. so after thanking him I sat down again, and THEN I did notice he had a limp.. I never laugh at people with physical disabilites, but this was just a big LOL @ me.. Ha.. it was a hoot.
C.. oh, yea, I been cranking.. lol

HG, you should look into a ballroom dancing course - you never know who you might meet there.......when I was about 14 and lived at West Point (my dad was stationed there) they offered ballroom dancing to the cadets.....at the time, it was a male-only school (only for another year) so they needed 'girls' to come to the class to be partners. I got to take the class for free - it was about 12 weeks or so, and it was one of the best times of my life. I learned to ballroom dance (not that I remember too much of it today) and had SO much fun!!! My favorite dances were the polka and the jitterbug. The girls lined up on one side of the room, the guys on the other, then the guys came over and 'chose' their partner for that evening.
For the polka I got the tallest, biggest guy in the place (I'm only about 5'4") and I swear, my feet never touched the ground. It was like an amusement park ride!!! It really was a lot of fun and I'll never forget it - and to this day, I love taking any kind of dancing lesson.....

^^So fun, Cheryl!! I took a Latin Ballroom class in college and it was so fun -- we learned the Rhumba, Samba, and the Cha Cha. We learned the very basic elements of the Argentine Tango with a group of friends at a dance studio last summer -- it was so fun.
HG -- Cheryl is right -- you would love it!! Glad you were able to have a dance party last night -- sometimes that is the best thing for the soul

Loved the dance stories!
So, it appears I may get Mimosa after all. Not sure it would look the greatest with my usual skintone, but my feetsies get really dark in the summer, just from the everyday exposure, since I live in sandals from May to September!
I think this collection will probably hurt more than most. I am eyeing all three glossimers, (but it depends on how sheer they are), at least one bronzer, the nail polish and maybe the quad, but at this point, the quad isn't impressing me too much.

thank you C.. Bonitinha, stv... I do take dance classes -- but for the most part do it for excercise.. as I do know many steps and have it kind of inbred in me.. lol.. latina after all !
dancing is a great way to excercise and I love it.. and so do my boys.. lol.
I think I am going for both bronzers in this collex.. as I would not wear yellow nails on feet or hands.. I would feel jaundiced..lol

Nora ~ Yep, this one is going to put the credit card on fire! I definitely want Rose Bronze and I am dying to see the glossimers. I actually think the pink polish is very pretty, but not sure if it is unique enough. I might get Mimosa just for the heck of it -- I don't own any yellow cosmetics! I do think it would be cute on the toes in super cute sandals
I am not at all surprised!! Good for you! I think y'all have inspired me to try to find a class locally - I took a line dancing class several years ago and lost a lot of weight - it was so much fun!! And since my husband doesn't like to dance, it's a great alternative to needing a partner!
After some consideration, I think I'm going to skip Mimosa but Rose Bronze and the glossimers are definitely on my list. I will do some damage with the RC Shines, so it's a good thing there aren't a lot of products in this particular collection! I can't wait to see them in person!
I'm back to CA tomorrow until Friday - looking forward to hitting that San Jose mall again!

as regards dancing.. I really enjoyed Belly Dancing and I took it up to level 3.. but then I had my back surgery and have been bombarded with personal losses so I did not go back.. but I will one day! Dancing is a great way to lose weight..

And a little off topic, there are two of the BB Rich lip colour lipsticks that I am eyeing on the other site! So between Chanel summer, BB and the fragrances on my wish list, it's not looking good!
