ok, that just did it for me...after looking at the nails in the above link & reading 'Cockateil' I can no longer think that I would wear Mimosa! I would envision myself with nails like a bird

I'm still liking Mimosa! I think it'll be super cute on the toes!

And I am all over Pink Peony! And I also feel like picking up a few peonies from the florist to put into a small vase now. Also like the quad, and the pink n/p and the bronzer, just not sure on which one, but probably the rose. Wow, this collection is going to hit the wallet hard!

I've learned to never say never.......I wonder how many of us will end up with Mimosa after we've said 'no way'?

I originally said that the quad didn't seem unique enough, but it is quite pretty. And Peony is a no-brainer. Actually, most glossimers are no-brainers. I bought the Rose Envolee quad as those colors are right up my alley (it's the quad from the Le Blanc collection which has Rose Turbulent, which I LOVE) - here's info from The Beauty Look Book:

I`m thinking I might get both bronzers, ooops! And Pink Peony of course. I like Mimosa but I can`t wear yellow nail polishes. I`ve tried at least 20 yello polishes from different brands and various shades of yellow and it always clashes with my undertones. I always end up giving them to my mom (who's warmer toned than me). I can`t seem to pull off anything yellow near my face :/

Or maybe Chanel will start releasing their press samples already, I want bronzer swatches *grrr*!!

I could be totally wrong but I don't picture the quad looking the way these swatches look on my screen...not sure if it's the pic or my monitor, but I don't think they fit the description of deep green, light green, beige and grey. The deep green and light green I could understand because the lighter one did look like a very yellow green in the picture we've seen of the quad, but the other 2 shades don't look like beige and grey to me...they look like a white or pink and a reddish brown.

So far I'm only interested in the glossimers and possibly the beige polish. The bronzers look beautiful, but I don't wear bronzer.

well I just love off-topic - I don't like to color inside the lines so to speak

So what is your opinion of the RE quad? so curious as to how they look in person.

^^^ The skin on the hand looks quite red too, so I think it's safe to say that the lighting the picture was taken in was very very red/warm-toned. It probably skewed all of the swatches to look more warm or more red than they really are, which is why a beige and grey color might translate to a pinkish and a brownish color in a swatch photo.
