You should try the new Clinique Chubby Sticks if these seem too heavy - they are a very sheer balm but still have color. They are wonderful on the lips & easy to just throw on. I love them a lot. Also, I like to use the chubby first, & then apply a ls over it - awesome.

I bought watermelon, cherry, strawberry colors.

Just got my Ultra Darling - Gorgeous, Gorgeous Gorgeous! Love this color on.

^I'm not GG - but it really reminded me of maybe just a bit lighter Toxic Tale - somewhere in that tone range - but sheered out it was really beautiful! It appears quite bright in the tube & a heavy app.

Sheered out it's gorgeous! I liked a non-blotted application too, but my skin's too pale right now to totally pull that off. In the summer it'll rock though. I'd call it the summertime version of Toxic Tale, with a little extra pink.

oh i don't usually like clinique but those chubby sticks did catch my eye when i saw them in a magazine!

Some of the chubby stick colours look great but I'm curious at to whether you have to sharpen them when the tip gets blunt?

The first version you did, but the new ones just swivel up.

Watermelon is a light slight watermelon pink pink very pretty, Cherry is a GORGEOUS red. I really Love just one quick swipe of it on my lips for that just bitten sweet look. But, its also gorgeous darker. Its a really perfect wearable red color. Strawberry is a deeper pink mauvey berry. They are only $14

I saw those chubby sticks in a mag ad...might have to check them out. And I am very tempted to pay a visit to the MAC store to pick up one of these Sheen Supreme lippies even though I told myself I have to wait until nest week. Reading about everyone else's excitement and love for them is making me feel left out

Thats great that they swivel up, think I have to check em out tomorrow when I go to town! I've seen some swatches and they do look great for a nice simple look which is what I like for spring/summer

Just got back from the MAC store and also got the New Temptation and Insanely It I bought off the site. I saw 'Full Speed' in person, swatched it and immediately on me it looked like the Virgin Isle CCB I already own so I scratched that off my list. Ultra Darling looked nice but...it didn't immediately draw me in. Maybe in the future.

Insanely It looks fab! And I have to rave about New Temptation as it is the *perfect* blue-red for me. Can't wait to slap some Love Alert Dazzleglass on top of it.

Yes, at least check them out - but I think you'll like them. They were also running a gift with purchase - at least here in the states. Lip balm but better. I want to know what you get if you do get one!!!!

I'm going to look into Clinique - I think these Sheen Supreme are making my lips sore. They feel so dry and irritated now after wearing them for 2 days. Is that possible??

Sounds like you might be reacting to one of the ingredients. Anything is possible. I find Amplified Cremes a little drying, for instance and a lot of people have said that they find Creemsheens to be a bit drying.

I went to the counter today and decided to play with these babies. I saw a couple that peaked my interest. There was one that reminded me of Touch and although I love that color, I tend to wear brights more often. Then there's Full Speed which seemed very pretty, but people saying it's similar to Red Full Stop scares me. When I had that one, it went on OK, but after an hour or so, it turned and made me look like a demented clown. I settled on Insanely It (which I called Insanely Lit and the MUA called Insane Hip and the cashier called Insanely Lip. So many collections and products, we are all going crazy). I like It b/c it reminds me of my beloved Big Bow from Hello Kitty but w/o the teal/blue iridescence. Here it is...

^Thanks, Katred! I really thought I was going to skip this thing entirely, but I was itching to buy something and nothing in Jeanius even remotely interested me. I really like this formula. It's moisturizing w/o being too slippery.

Shontay i swear i'd kill for your lips! they are such a great shape and size! and the lipstick looks awesome on you! and yes it is quite like big bow. just without the gritt perhaps?! lol!

^Thanks . I actually wish my lips were smaller, but we all want what we don't have right? Big Bow is a tiny bit gritty, but I can deal w/ it b/c it's gorgeous. I think the key is not to layer too much. :lol:
