HG, I know - the market sucks right now!! I hope it rebounds soon. As they said on the news this morning, it's really a market driven by headlines right now. I hope the situation in Japan stabilizes soon - I feel so bad for all of those people and the utter devastation. It's just awful.

The devastation in Japan is just unimaginable to me. First the earthquake, then the tsunami, then the radiation issues, and then snow to complicate the rescue efforts. They just can't get a break, and yet the people there are handling it with such calm and grace. They are to be admired big time for the way they are dealing with it all, that's for sure.

[/quote] Don't mention it, it's the least we can do. Fauve goes on much more purple than it looks in the pan. I posted some comparison swatches in the swatch thread, maybe they help to give you a better idea? I would not call it a deep purple, I'd stick with a taupish-purple, like the lighter sister of Taupe Grisé (great combo btw ). I am neutral-yellow and I love it with my eye colour

I agree with Birgit completely,
Fauve and Shale are definitely different, different colour and texture. Shale leans towards grayish-lilacy kind of tone, while Fauve does have a bit of a purplish hint to it, or taupish-purple
I have both and can also do some comparison swatches, although the lighting here is quite crap today.
I'm also happy to do a CP for you guys, anytime I fly to the UK almost every month, so I can pick up some of the HE stuff at DF too.
And Birgit, I may take your offer to shop at the French DF, as none of the countries I'm planning to visit this year have Flying Cloud I'm intrigued by...

[/quote] I'll be in the duty free next week, so if you want I'll check if they have Antigone. They for sure have Fauve, but so far they only had a limited set of colours in the DF. Prices are about 26Euros for Fauve and 25 for Antigone, hopefully better than this. Let me know what you think. Almus, Elena, do you have better prices in Spain or in NL?

Since I cannot do any sports for now I have all the afternoons free for my favourite hobby ... shopping or at least, swatching :

: I will go doing some research to some stores which usually have better prices in HE brands and I'll report later. Usually they don't get the stuff as soon as the bigger malls, but sometimes that's even better, cause they don't usually sold out.

Well anyway.......I am thinking Antigone, Evasion, Fetiche (interesting that you like this one elegant - I thought it was super pretty in some earlier swatches we saw but I haven't heard anyone else comment on it), Romance and *maybe* Monte Carlo and Chance (I worry about this one showing up on my lips) on the Shines. Bis, I may eventually take you up on your very generous offer but atm the plan is for me to do a CP for someone from the Netherlands once a Chantecaille item comes back in stock, and the recipient is going to get me some Chanel.
