^ Iron Maiden was one of my first ls purchases from Shiseido's new colours -- I believe Elegant and Shypo have it too.. it is a gorgeous ls with lots and lots of pigmentation and I get a good amount of hours of wearing time from it. I also bought Brocade, Desire and Dragon.(?) .. and all are perfect. I am hoping the Chanel's wear as well or I will burn them in effigy.

Omg, those are all the colors I made note of! LOL HerGreyness... I cannot afford a new makeup addiction! OMG!

sorry darlin, I keep saying we are addicted and out of control.. those are the colours I picked for me, because I like statement lips even if they are subtly coloured -- remember these are sheer.

^Now that is service! Some of the chanel ladies I know - it would be very very bad if they had my cell # LOL

We ALL LOVE Iron Maiden doll!

It rocks

Elegant I'm so bad with one of the managers.. that we text each other. She'll tell me if there's a 'preview' or a 'discontinued' in a shipment, and set it aside for me. LOL So wrong... I know! This is how I go broke. But apparently, Chanel ships current stuff, but always tosses a wildcard in any given shipment. If that wildcard is something I'm looking for (like the Trapeze nail polish that I scored a few weeks ago), then they call or text me to give me a heads up, and to see if they should set it aside.

I'm totally out of control. Being a pro is the ONLY justification I have for all the friggin' makeup that I have. My husband just shakes his head and looks the other way!

Such a shame. I love a good lippie... pigmented or sheer. Feeling and lasting power top my list of requirements. Rouge d' Armani lippies are the only ones that actually last forever on me (you literally have to take them off with makeup remover). Totally waterproof. I just wish they made more unique colors. I can dupe almost all of them, save for Beige 106 (which I keep in constant rotation).

I've heard that some Chanel reps can be a mess... but the company DOES take complaints serioiusly. My local reigonal rep got one SA fired because she just made the customers miserable, and she refused to actually match products to customers. Instead, she just tried to sell them the most expensive thing... to up her sales numbers.
Canotier:

Worth a backup and a giveaway. STUNNING and completely idiot proof. Topping my list, with Boy... Sari d'Eau... Bel-Ami and Bonheur. I'm getting them all... just not all at once. I'm doomed. Summer Collection is here next week. Crap.
Canotier was the one that I kept thinking about after my first trip to see the lip shines. They didn't have it at the counter I went to this evening, though. They seemed to only have the coral and plum colors. I didn't think this one would show up at all, but I swatched for the hell of it and it looked so pretty on my hand. This is becoming addictive.

It doesn't look like much Shontay, until you put it on. I love it. I must have one of these in my purse at all times, just to pop on when my face is looking/feeling blah.

I made it to a Nordie's this weekend, and splurged on Canotier and Boy. Love them both. I'm seriously considering Fetiche and Aventure when I can come up with the funds. I really wish all the cosmetic companies would knock it off with the regional exclusives. It's really freaking annoying.

I'm kind of new to the Chanel addiction....with the exception of a few quads I've gotten over the last couple of years. These lipsticks drew me in, though! I got Boy last week and just ordered Liberte for a pretty peachy summer lip! I know the wear time is less than desirable, but in the summer when most of the time I wore a gloss anyway it doesn't matter too much to me. Lovely!:)

Ingenue, I hear ya.. I however heard Shiseido enough that I bought four of their new ls line.. whereas with Chanel, I only bought 3, and those were the most vibrant colours since I know full well that these would almost dissapear on my lips/face -- if not within an hour, then in an hour on the phone. pfft.

I have to say that I actually feel the same way about the RCS. Don't get me wrong, I love the one that I got, but I'm iffy about shelling out $40 per to get more when they barely show up on my lips. I love Misia when I swatch it on my hands, but I think that it would disappear in use. Monte Carlo, I've determined, won't be different enough than Antigone on my lips to warrant buying... Rebelle, however, is still calling my name. The manager at one of my Chanel counters is determined that I need it...

Personally, I'm more excited for the new Guerlain Rouge Automatiques, since they are a bit more opaque. They'll be the same price, so I'm still going to want to cry, but they're a little more up my alley. In Chanel world, I'll hold steady until the "velvet" lipsticks come out... Then I think I'll be well and truly broke.

Still trying to pick out a Dior Addict to try. The sheer size of the line intimidates me and I can never make a decision...

I think I might be finished with my RCS purchases, except maybe for Deauville. Love that one.

I am also looking forward to the Guerlains.......

LOVE the Shiseido ones - Iron Maiden is one of my faves....I have about 6 of them.

Welcome to the world of addiction and obsession maddiesmom!! You'll never walk alone here!!

^^ Antigone is beautiful and deeper. Monte-carlo is more of a strawberry pink. I think both are different and I like both, but if I have to pick one it will be Antigone.

ingenue - your lips are gorgeous!

I was at another Chanel counter today and that counter didn't have Canotier and Biarritz. One of it is sold out while the other didn't come to all my counters, since we are getting others like Premice, Rivage... I tried Flying Cloud on and love it! It is more pink that I thought it would be. On my lips it look like what it is in the first pic.

Here, the skin swatch is the colour I get on my lips. On her lips it's so pink, wow.

^^Loving Flying Cloud -- I love peachy pinks for summer! Did you pick it up, MissQQ? I will refrain from buying it off of Ebay for a zillion dollars
