I love how Rose Platine looks

I've been doing some numbers since I have to take most of my makeup budget for getting some furniture and I think I am going to get just Rose Platine and either Bronze Corail or Dior's Aurore bronzer ... and I am trying the new Chanel mascara, sublime something I believe.

Elegant -- I am so excited to get the bronzer!! And my glossimers -- woot! When do you get your other order??

Almus -- glad you can splurge on some makeup! I've liked the Chanel mascaras -- they give me full lashes (and mine are lookin' a little sparse lately)

Almus - I have been thinking on just ordering RP all day

Michelle - funny, because moslty all of the Summer was for the May 14 deal at Nordies so I am going to have to add some other things once they take out the Summer stuff since I got a lot of it already, May 14th - hey thats soooo far away - you know I can't wait that long. I'll probably substitute with Pensee & some of the other shine colors

Oooohh...I just tried the Rose bronzer on the left cheekbone & Coral on the right

both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the pan, I ran the brush from front to back & then a slight 2nd brush back on the first color (Rose or Coral) & then went from apples of the cheek back - that way the main color was on my cheeks & the bronzer colors on the cheekbone - if that makes sense. My cheeks had a beautiful flush of color & looked sculpted.

The Rose gives a beautiful light rose flush & the Coral is a really pretty golden warm peach, Neither are brownish or muddy on. The color is very buildable without ever turning muddy.

I am so happy that I bought both.They are beautiful on guys.

oh goodness! as if your pictures weren't enough to send me over the edge?! now you tell us how much you like them!! lol! i think the pink will come home with me too. the good thing about the delay in getting this collection is that i have longer to save up!

Well, thats true Lou. You get time to think about, save for it, & read what everyone else thinks of the colors so I guess thats all good.

Well I tried using the MAC es that was similar & it just did not have the depth of color on as RP did. It had such awesome staying power on too that I couldn't hardly get it off the back of my hand with remover.

I'm planning on wearing RP smudged just below my normal lower liner & maybe in the inner corners of the eyes.

personally I love the slight near shimmer in the bronzers.. it's so much more flattering than a flat bronzer -- similar in finish to the Rouge G which blew out the doors. lol

Rose Platine - honestly I think it just means that its a warmer taupe - its not real greyed if that makes sense - not as cool as some taupes

I get a real chuckle out of all your posts about Chanel...crack me up

btw - I was calling it Plantine earlier what ever

I just posted on the other forum between her roof and bathroom tiles going wanting, she's going to be hiking up to the loo al fresco!!!

I am getting both bronzers, the DUO, Rose Platine, Aurore and Pink Peony and the quad. But only after I finish printing more money in my basement.....

Tomorrow night they shall all be MINE!!! MINE I SAY!!!

Hi everyone!

I didn't go to the counter today, I was feeling lazy. Definitely need to go tomorrow. However, there was one pic of Mimosa that is making me rethink it. I think I need a lighter yellow. So my list is now Rose Bronze, Morning Rose n/p, quad, Pensee and maybe Pink Peony, because I love the name! And with all the shopping I've done for home stuff, I have also racked up enough points to get a $100 gift card at the Bay! So that'll definitely help!!!

Keep the pictures coming everyone! They are greatly appreciated!

^^ Yay on the $100 gift card! I've also just redeem $100 voucher of a department store with all the shopping I've done for 2 years with one of my cards. I could spend it on the RC shines, or wait a month more and get the summer goodies. If I can resist I'll wait. The bronzers look so beautiful.

Okay, I reviewed the collection on my blog. Not my favorite. Really. I'm returning the Coral Bronzer (the Rose is much better) and the Mimosa nail polish. Getting a backup of the Eye Pencil... that thing is AMAZING. Perfect for lighting the eyes. Never seen a color like it, and never seen a color do what it did when I popped it in the waterline. Stunning. Keeper. The quad is okay... better than Murano. I'll keep it.

Oh, and the sleeper star in the Glossimers is Aurore. I was all set to get Pensee... then swatched Aurore... and exchanged one for the other. Two other women at the Nordies counter with me today did the exact same thing.

I'm such a bad influence.

i am not a bronzer person either which is why i am happy to see these are very easy to work with and quite subtle! because i am quite light in skin tone most bronzers look orangey on me!
