Yup, Lou, the glossimers aren't sticky, but they stay on long and well. I love the effect of dazzleglass but I dislike the tackiness. Ooo you have the blue quad at your counter! It looks more beautiful than the old blue quad, blue celeste which I have. That collection is not available here.

Add me to the Glossimer addict club. I love them so much!! I have been wearing Pensee every day since I got it.

Also wearing the Lilium quad and Rose Platine pencil today. LOVE! And my love affair with the bronzers continues.

Glossimers really are amazing. I used to think I liked MAC glosses because they lasted so long because they were so sticky. Well I can't stand them now. Glossimers aren't sticky and feel great and somehow manage to be incredibly long lasting. The are lovely!

Ooohhh everything is beautiful!! I can't wait to do a full Chanel Summer FOTD tomorrow! Crap I should have held off painting my nails this morning so I could have tried Morning Rose.

Okay, so I take this all back. My insatiable curiosity got the best of me and I went ahead and tried Aurora on. It's a extremely lightweight, long wearing, sparkling pink. I can see how it would be a great lipstick topper like Bonitinha suggests. I enjoy it alone as a sheer feminine sparkling pink gloss.

I also had a bit more luck with the Dior bronzer today. I used a MAC 187 to apply it yesterday and wasn't able to achieve the look I wanted. Today I tried using a MAC 129 and I was able to achieve the exact effect I was looking for (which was a diffused glow). I think the bronzer distributes best using a brush with a fluffy loose wide domed head.

I'm thinking I'm going to grab Pensee tomorrow when I head into town to run errands. I can't get it off my mind! I think I will also have a look at the lipsticks while I'm there.

<- replace MAC with Chanel and I think this smilie fits well at the moment. ^_^

So far at work I've tried on the Glossimers I got. Aurore and Pensee. LOVE Aurore. It's super pretty on it's own and I can see it being an amazing lipstick topper. Pensee on the other hand I don't think will be a keeper for me. It it VERY sheer and did pretty much nothing to my lips except leave a bunch of gold glitter behind :-(

Oh yay, I'm glad you loved Aurore! I love it over peachy-pink lipsticks -- so pretty. Chanel eats my wallet on a regular basis LOL
Good to know about the Dior bronzer -- I might still swing by the Dior counter just to give it a look.

Christa -- just read that you loved Aurore also. It is gorgeous, isn't it? I put it over MAC's Marquise D' and it was really beautiful. I think it would look great over peachy or pinky lipsticks -- and it looks great on its own. I am loving all of these summery colors -- but please, it is still raining and cold here -- sigh!

I think it is because Marquise d flashes from pinky to golden peachy and with Aurore on top = love!
I really want to find a Chanel equivalent to MAC A Rose Romance lipstick (love the color, don't love the formula). It looks really pretty with Pink Peony on top. I'm layering everything these days . . .

Sooo... I got the call today! I can pick up my goodies on Saturday! I'm so excited, this is going to be a massive haul for me! Comes at a bad time though, we have two weddings over the next month and our window coverings have been ordered. I'm officially broke, oh well!

LMD84, the glossimers are my absolute favourite lip product! Mine is just one opinion, but I do find they stay on really well, don't feel tacky (though they do feel a bit heavier than lipstick, to be expected though) and they don't dry out my lips. I always have at least two in my purse. Since my lips are quite pigmented, I can wear even some of the sheerer shades on their own, but there are a few that are so sheer that I regretted getting them. Having said that, I have gotten more use out of my glossimers than any other lipgloss or lipstick and have basically gotten to the point that I really don't bother getting gloss from any other brands anymore.

You guys when I went to Bloomingdales tonight to check out the Mac counter, I was spotted by a Chanel MUA who knows me very well. She was like "you're cheating on me with Mac. I see you". I went over and swatched the quad and the duo, but I prefer the quad, surprisingly. I was this close to buying it. I wanted it so much, but I thought I should hold off because I had a party to go to tomorrow. Well, I don't feel up to going and now I am kicking myself for not buying the quad. I'm going back tomorrow to buy it. I wanna kick myself in the teeth. It is so gorgeous and she said the entire collection is flying out of there. I'm not surprised. I may buy Pensee, also. Most exciting for me though, on a whim I decided to ask if they had any foundations for my complexion. I already knew the answer but she said "in the fall". I almost passed out. She said they are expanding the shades in the fall. I want a Chanel foundation so badly. I'm like please let this be true. It's a crime that I can't buy a foundation from one of my very favorite brands. That's my Chanel story for the day. :clap:
