MAC - Semi Precious Discussion

I just noticed something. Did mac forget that they already brought out a 179 brush? If you look up 179 brush than you will find a body buffer brush.
I'm interested in the brushes, but i don't know if i will have money for them. I have to find money somewhere

As it stands The only think I think I will be getting from this collection is the 235 blush.
Now if the swatches impress me I will add 2 of the MES to my list:
Blue Sheen
Smoky Ruby

My hauls of late seem to be very small or non existent.

Hm... the more I see the swatch for Rare Find the more I think it looks like Smoke & Diamonds, except maybe a bit more gray...
Anybody else think so?

split brushes are going to be more user friendly.. you use one side to do app and the duo fibre side to buff -- it's kinda like having a duo and not having to change brushes.

these brushes are a must have imo... especially if you are just starting your brush collections -- they will do double the work using one tool. hth

My list right now is only Gem of Roses and Geo Pink.

I want to see swatches of the other lipsticks though. And I wonder how Natural Flare Cremesheen compares to Boy Bait.*EDIT* okay never mind, saw the swatches!

Warmth of Coral - Melange peach and coral--Wonder how it'll compare to Ripe Peach, Marine Life, etc. *EDIT* never mind again!

I can't wait for swatches or more pics of the MSFs! I doubt I'll get any but I just want to LOOK!

Okay found swatches here...was too impatient to read the whole thread...

Geo Pink looks kinda orangey in the swatch...I'm not sure I like it. I like One of a Kind though....

But now I want all the brushes! HELP!

The MSF's look boring to me in the pictures. I was expecting something more beautiful in appearance. I hope I don't like much of this collection
because Surf Baby was a whomper on my wallet. 3 pigment stacks,careblend bronzer,3 shadows,1 lipglass,1 eyeliner. And my Pro card is expired
so I paid retail. Uhhhh too much.

OK since I have been reading through the Chanel Fall 2011 thread, I have decided to pass on semi precious. I can't pass up some of the new Chanel. Plus I am not thrilled with all of the swatches that I have seen of this collection.

hmm i guess this is true.. anyways im prob skipping the eyeshadows so i wont have to spend so much.. maybe ill only get one MB to save some money as well.. the collection is just way too expensive..

I used to buy Chanel here and there when I hardly ever bought makeup, but now that I'm buying stuff regularly, it's back to MAC all the way. However, that nail polish that looks like a beetle shell is going to come home with me - it's gorrrrrgeous.

Also ot: I'm a Bill Compton fan all the way, but that dude who plays Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones blows all of the TB guys away

For sure I want the some brushes. The 128 for sure. I can't decide between 234 and 235. I want both but it depends on what else I get.

Blue Sheen, Rare Find, Warmth of Coral, and Quartz Fusion look nice but I'll check it out in the store because usually what I like online is totally differ in person. None of the MSF's and lippies look too special so I'll pass.
