You know, I have to say that, having seen the swatches on Best Things in Beauty... I really don't feel like I'm missing out.

Don't get me wrong, the colours are very pretty, but there's nothing that makes me gnash my teeth and punch the air because I'll never have it...
honestly i'm not into the colours of the palette at all! i love the way the palette looks though! but it's not worth all the money people are charging for it!

We *think* sometime before July 4 based on the backorder date of the quad on Neiman Marcus online. Could be next week, could be right before, so keep your eye out.

Can I ask a newbie chanel question? I only ordered my first chanel items with the summer collection so being new, I can't tell what the sell out items will be like I can kinda predict with mac, so do you ladies/gents think the eyeshadow quad and the ra l/s will sell out on Monday when it goes live on the UK selfridges site?

MrsB -- you never know how fast the LE Chanel items will sell out. Here in the States, some items completely sell out fast, and some will be on the websites for quite a while. I always like to order things right when they come out because I have no patience to wait Some counters will hold the items for you and can ship them to you also.

[/quote] Yeah, it's just hard as it launches Monday here, supposedly but I can paid friday - wondering whether it's worth asking my hubby to pay then pay him back lol!

Are you certain it launches Monday? It says here it will launch on the 15th and that the information was provided directly by Selfridges.

Here are pics of the Byzance displayer and Rouge Byzatin RA. I swatched RB at the counter and then I swatched other red RAs but none of them was as pigmented. RB is very intense with just one swipe.

Great pics, thanks!! Would you say it may be kind of an opaque, on-steroids version of Monte carlo RC Shine? Or is it just my monitor that makes it look like that?
Were these JCs priced higher than your usual JCs? I just read a post on MUA suggesting that the JCs in this collection might be priced at $65 here?

No, I don't think so. *If* these are higher I think it would just be the ones in this collection. And I'm still hoping that poster on MUA was wrong. Guess we'll see...
Great pics, Miss QQ - thanks!! I must get that RA - it is stunning!! I posted the prices a few posts ago - I think the quad is $65, the JCs are $43, and the RA is $32.

The JC costs S$65, in my currency. It is an increase from $63. We have a price hike in some of the items since earlier this year. The quad is more expensive, $95. Lilium is $87 and the quads used to cost me $83 each.
So I think the JC will be the same price but the quad is more expensive than usual for you.
winthrop - The l/s doesn't look so pink in the tube, it looks deeper. But when i swatch it, it looks pinker. I'm bad at describing colours so I'll try to swatch my MC sample and RB tomorrow.

Lou - LOL on what Hollywood wants us to believe. But yes MAC is a huge ever-growing demographic to just be ignored

MissQQ - love the pics - they make me anxious. Looks like its more fuchsia based? I was hoping for a more true red. Is the gold JC real shimmery?
