Here are pics of the Byzance displayer and Rouge Byzatin RA. I swatched RB at the counter and then I swatched other red RAs but none of them was as pigmented. RB is very intense with just one swipe.

Pardon the bright spot of light (the spotlight is directly above), it's a RB dummy.

Glad to see you posting here! We tend to get a little frenetic, and I'm the same as Bonitinha - I get my stuff when it launches......but MrsB, you should be fine. I'm sure the store would hold it for you -

Naynadine, I haven't heard about the eyelash curler either - I'll see if I can find someone who knows and report back.....

This is a fabulous collection - I wish it would get here, in a way, but it would be nice to have some time between bank account siphons........

And I just saw someone on ebay using my photo (Givenchy blush) from my blog. I reported it. Funny thing is, the item in that auction is not even the one from the photo.

and the Byzantine palette is now at 585$

[/quote] Thank you for such a nice welcome I would love to have a counter to hold the items for me but no such luck - I live in the middle of no where lol so I do all my make up shopping online. Hopefully things won't sell out in two days but I think I'd crynif I missed out on the quad and the l/s. Though the l/s will be only the 3rd bright lipstick I own!

If its out on wednesday hopefully it will not sell out as fast! It will be available in Selfridges and Chanel boutiques but when I spoke to them they weren't sure what items they will be getting or if they will even be getting anything other than the Byzantine palette

argh - it's stressing me out which is so silly. but i feel like my mac obsession has just died down and now i'm onto chanel. i won't be buying much but i'll be sad if i can't get the couple of items i do want!

I know my MAC obsession has literally gone down thanks to Chanel! Ever since I found this thread I haven't been wowed by any other collection - I'm only buying 2 things from FF! The problem of course is the price tag *sigh*

Same thing happened to me. The last thing I bought from MAC was from the Fabulous Felines collection. I fell completely in love with Chanel's Holiday Collection from last year and have been buying their make up like crazy ever since.

I got into Chanel when the winter collection came out - just bought two things though; Rouge Coco in Patchouli (my lips hate this formula) and a glossimer in Pleasing which I absolutely love!

I know what you mean about the formula. Patchouli in particular is quite dry and drying. What I do is apply a very thin layer of vaseline on my lips, kiss some paper tissue to get rid of the excess and then put on the lipstick. Works like a charm!

I have to try this! I have two Rouge Coco's none of which I can wear which is shame cause the shades are lovely!

I wasn't able to get any info out of our local Chanel people on the collection either. And I have a stupid question. Is it the Byzance collection or the Byzantine collection? I have seen it referred to as both.

I will definitely get the Byzantine RA and Rouge JC as I have been a scarlet woman for years.

Count me in on those losing some interest in MAC. Very small haul for SB (2 e/s, 1 l/s, 1 p/g stack when I usually buy the whole collex). Only buying 1 e/s from SP. My interests and money have gone to Chanel and interestingly enough MUFE especially their PRO line.

Fall collections are my favorites. Feel like my wallet will get hurt bad this year between Chanel and possibly NARS.

The pre-autumn collection is called Byzance which consists of the 2 blushes, quad and RA. Byzantine is the name given to the very very very LE and ridiculously priced palette.

I really wish my MAC obsession dies down completely aswell - even though Chanel is more expensive but the amount of collections MAC release is crazy by comparison! I've been meaning to buy some more MUFE stuff aswell but as usual - my moneys tied!
