The auction for the Byzantine palette just ended, and the winning bid was 660$

I didn't know there are people more crazy about makeup than us.

That is a lot of money! I guess they want it more as a collector's item, and aren't really into makeup.

Here are the swatches of the l/s. The colours here are more true than what I put up last night. RB has blue and red shimmers which I'm not sure if you can see them in the pics, but in real they are rather visible. Maybe it is close to Paris RA, which is a pink red, but Paris is not as intense and has no shimmers.

OMG I come on Specktra and I'm 300 posts behind in the Chanel Fall thread!! I just can't keep up to you guys anymore!! Jenn I didn't even know you were posting on here! Things have been so crazy lately I've barely been able to keep up with anything!

The Neiman Marcus online situation isn't really sorted out. It seems to depend on what I put in my cart how crazy the charges are? Regardless they are more than before so it is very frustrating. They are my lifeline!!

I was feeling crazy about everything in this collection but now I'm taming down. I do adore the look of the Rouge Byzantine lipstick (Miss QQ your amazing pics have sealed the deal on that one!) and the Red JC from the Byzantine collection and whatever the JC is from the regular collection. Oh who am I kidding! If I go look at the Chanel Fall pics again I'll be sunk! I've been so distracted by other brands lately I've been neglecting my true love Chanel. Bad Christa!!

I'm going to try not to get overwhelmed with how behind I am and just carry on!!! Miss you gals

We *think* sometime before July 4 based on the backorder date of the quad on Neiman Marcus online. Could be next week, could be right before, so keep your eye out.

Did I tell you gals that my beloved Chanel SA at Macy's is leaving her job because they are all being a bunch of you know what's to her and pushing her out. I feel so bad for her and selfishly so bad for myself. She was the the absolute best! I don't want to have to pay all the crazy NM charges

Hey everyone!!! After a long enduring time of college I'm back for the summer and ready for some more Chanel!

So excited from what I have seen so far, but I feel so out of loop lol. And MrsLid I am sorry your MA is leaving! Macys is one of the WORST companies to work for, I work for them right now (work in Fragrances, been there almost 5 years!

) but can't wait till I find another job, heck I'll take a pay cut at this point because I am sick of the crap you have to put up with! Anyways back on topic...lol. This may have been asked a million times..but to make sure I have this straight since I've been trying to catch up.. there's only one fall collection correct? Theres the super hella expensive eye quad, and then theres the regular collection?
