I will never want a piece of makeup that badly. I would have plunked down the initial 250.00 for it though. I cannot tell a lie. But the thing is, I got over it pretty quickly. I already have the NARS Bento Box... I think that's splurge enough for one lifetime. And at least, the Bento Box arrived looking like an ACTUAL keepsake. The Chanel thing looks like all the other Chanel pieces as far as packaging.

I really like Quartz but in that same color family I am quite attached to my Butter London's "All Hail The Queen"

The other two are gorgeous as well but I'm not so sure they would look as good on my 48 yr old hands.

winthrop - I don't have Merrily so I can't help. But I don't have to buff Rouge out a lot. I use a duo fibre brush to apply, buff a bit, then top with loose powder.

Thanks for the link. I think it is the most unique colour but I'm not sure I like how it looks. I have to see and swatch it in person.

[/quote] Thanks for the swatches, all three polishes for me, too. Yes, sadly, no Byzance Collection for us. France seems to get it (thanks for the info) and the UK, too. Please send an email to Chanel Customer Service asking about it, so they know that they are missing out on sales here.

No, at least that's what Chanel said in their email. I also asked garden.co.uk where we could order Chanel, if they will have the collection online, and they said it's exclusive to Selfridges.

At least we don't get tempted that way.

I ordered Gondola a few days back - I wasn't so into polishes, but that one looks great and could suffice for my 'red' needs.......but I'm planning on Quartz too......

After I get back from my son's college orientation next week, this stuff should be at my Nordies - looking forward to it!!

Sadly I've way to many polishes, but can't stop buying them. I love unusual colours, that's the reason I was drawn into Chanel for the first time!
Today I'm wearing a CG seafoam green holo polish.
