I think I may wait for a bit warmer red (maybe the one from the holiday collection?). Miss QQ you've probably answered this before but is the red blush warm or cool? In these pics it looks one way in some and the opposite in others. Which of these really looks like it?

Helloooo ladies! Ugh, another crappy work week, but at the very least, I moved to a different desk where I am far away from a rather mean individual and I don't have to deal with her crap any more and don't have to walk on egg shells so she doesn't go into one of her nutty episodes. I'm only the fourth person that's requested to move, and I had a great desk by the window...

Oh well... with that off my chest! Peridot looks so darn pretty in the bottle, I may just have to get that and Quartz. A nude rose blush sounds great, if it is a pinker blushbaby, it's mine. Blushbaby always went orange on me. If the gel shadows are sheer, that's an easy pass for me and the only other thing I wanted was the matte RA.

Elegant, that dress is so pretty! I'm sure you look super gorgeous in them! I love JCrew, I have three items sitting in my cart atm, but waiting to see if any of them go on sale.

I think MissQQ had asked about the LeBlanc collection (Asia exclusive, which is now available in North America, lol!). I purchased Joyeuse RA, Rose Turbillon (sp?) JC and.. and... I also did get the quad, Rose Envolee! Wasn't going to, really don't have the funds to spare atm, but the colour combination is one of the prettiest of their quads imo. I love pinks, and I love dark eggplanty colours and I love Chanel! Only thing is, I cannot bring myself to use any of it right now. It's just so summery here, and I've been sporting the same, hardcore summer look lately!!! Bronze-y eyes with the GA summer eyes quad, with my upper lid lined with MAC's high noon liner (teal), Bronze Corail on the cheeks and a light peachy pink l/s.

Crikey. How do people like that keep their jobs? I remember an incident at a place I used to work where one woman who was clearly nuts kept managing to make others' lives miserable to the point where they would quit or get fired (including actually threatening someone who ended up getting fired) and no one had any idea why she was able to hang on to her position.

I do hope we get more swatches of everything. And, I hope that the shadows are perm, just in case I like them. I'm also wondering if they have a 6 month shelf life like the MAC ones did.

The shelf life of the e/s is 12 months, you can see it in the pic with the bottom of the jar.

I recently got here at my counter the Vitalumiere aqua foundation and I LOVE IT!! Its great! So happy I got it

Oh, I wore the Byzantin ls today & it is really more pinky red on the lips. It doesn't look like it does in the tube at all. Very pretty, but I was hoping for a red. Its a bit on the brighter side but not a bad bright more subtle bright. It def. has some pigmentation to it. I loved how it stained my lips. And, after using all these balm lipsticks, every other kind of ls seems dry. spoiled I guess

I'm so happy that what the mua told me some time ago is actually true: there are new, deeper shades of foundation coming. I look forward to owning a Chanel foundation (and the concealer and powder if it all swatches OK). As for the cream shadows, I only want/need Epatant and I am all about that coral lipliner. I need to see swatches of the lipsticks before I decide, but I hope I like at least one of them. I'm building a Chanel lipstick collection that rivals my glossimers at this point. I wanted the Khaki eye pencil, but I read that it's not waterproof. In that case, it's useless to me. Can anyone educate me on that?

Hi Shontay!

I like the Stylo Yeux Waterproof liners alot and have a few of them. The liner from this collection is a Le Crayon Yeux. I've only ever tried one, and I got it in a swap, so maybe I'm being unfair, but it had terrible staying power on me and I never have that problem with liners. How waterproof it really is or isn't I'm not sure but Chanel doesn't say it is and they seem to promote it more for its smudginess than anything else. If this color gets raves I may give it a chance but I'm not getting it right off the bat, especially when we know there's going to be another pretty Stylo Yeux Waterproof (taupe) coming soon. Hope this helps a little.

It's funny that sometimes they don't look like much when I swatch them, but when I take a chance and try it, it's magic. I value my RA, RC and Shines more than my extensive collection of Mac lipsticks. :eyelove: Question: Anyone know what's going on with the shade Teheran? I think it's a rouge Coco. A couple of other things that I learned today from Nordies - you guys probably already know.

There is a Eau Douceur Cleansing Water that will be launched with the Asia Nordies Anniversary sale.

She said it - Balances skin/Anti-pollution, Cleanser/Toner for both eyes & face. $45 I def. want to get that.

And, Nordies has this new Debit card but it is not a credit card. no statements, credit check, interest - basically like writing a check & the first time you spend $100, you get $20 Nordies bucks (whatever they call them) & you get points every time you use it. Its THE ONLY way you can get the Asia collection early starting the 5th of June. You can get it later if there is anything left.

I'm going to get it. I should have had this years ago for all that I've spent there

Oh man, I have no business with this Nordstroms card, but it sure sounds good. After this Mac blogger collection, I will be free from Mac for about a month or two, I believe so I am all ready for Chanel. Oddly enough, Bloomingdales is where that friendly Chanel MUA is, but I prefer going to Nordstroms on the other end to buy. I think I prefer Nordstroms atmosphere.

Well, no harm in getting the Nordies card - especially if you order/buy there a lot. Its only like writing a check. NO other strings attached. Kind of a good idea for Nordies. She said the only problem people had with it is that they did not want the credit check - so they don't do that at all any more. You can't use it for anything else.

Question: Anyone know what's going on with the shade Teheran? I think it's a rouge Coco. It's never at counters and the site says it would be back in mid-May. Well, it's June so, what gives? I am dying for it.

It is a Rouge Coco and it's definitely permanent, so maybe there's just a problem having it made/ shipped? Weird that it would be out of stock everywhere. It's a very pretty shade. It kindof reminds me of what I wanted Mac's Costa Chic to look like- it's less frosty and has a slightly pinker and whiter cast than CC, plus the texture is nicer. It's on my list of ones to get, along with Orchidee, Taffetas Rose, all the new stuff coming out...

Me too! Thank you for posting that! I'm dying for more swatches before hitting "order" at Chanel.com, I don't think I can be patient enough to wait for it to arrive in stores out West.
