Update on Byzance in my area (Seattle).
Just got off the phone with Chanel at Nordies here. Per SA the collection just shipped over the weekend and they do not expect to get theirs for "a week or two". That would put it here around the release of Fall and Anniversary.
For those of you in the US who were able to get this collection already, where is it available?

Im not aware of that being available anywhere in the US. Maybe someone can correct me if Im wrong but this collection will not be in departments stores, availability would be similar to the famous $250 quad, except in this case not even Bergdorf will get it which was the only department store having the $250 palette. So assuming that I think the Byzantine will be only in couple of Chanel boutiques, 2 of them which I am stalking, they dont have it yet.

LOVING Quartz!!!!!
I would call it frozen capucino color.
I wore it today and kept looking at my nails all day long. Off course I wore also Rose Ecrin and Plumetis. On me Plumetis is my lips but better color. It brightens them.
And I think I can pull off Quartz on the beach in the hot summer since it is so shiny-browny.

The flagship Nordstrom in Downtown Seattle is considered a Chanel Boutique. Isn't there one in Vegas as well?

Well, a little late to the game, but the lipstick in that photo looks exactly like Mac's So Chaud to me. And it's a surprisingly easy colour to wear.
I'm completely sold on Rose Ecrin. It's the perfect, natural, subtle blush I've been looking for. I think I can skip the Prelude quad. It's pretty, but I think I can live without... Still waiting on those shadow swatches, still wondering why I am strangely drawn to the white and black colours...

I already have the prelude quad coming my way and Graphite and Quartz np and now I cannot stop thinking about the khaki platine ever since I saw Sabrina's swatches. Grr! I'm thinking since it is limited edition that I *need* it (I love how I justify my makeup buying).
Debi you really have come over to the dark side! hee hee!Sigh. I just placed another order. And yes, Rose Ecrin is in it. Too pretty to pass up! So, of course, I added bronzer, 2 Coco Shines and a RA in Adorable. I'm a goner. But I will be a happy, pretty pink goner!!

I have to agree that Quartz is truly beautiful, but I am sold on Graphite since the very first moment I saw it!
I will be traveling to England in a couple of months (holidays + work stuff all mixed together ugh!) so right now I am cutting to zero all my make up budgets so I can spoil myself at London. I want to get tons of Louise Young brushes, Becca, Illamasqua and MAC and NARS (yes, NARS and MAC are cheaper in England than here, plus there is the MAC pro store
)
I guess that, if there is something left when I come back, I'll indulge with Epatant cream e/s.

elegant - If you scroll to the last 4th, 2nd and last pic, it is the look of Jade that you posted. The blog said the lipstick is Enthusiast too. I remember I saw it on this blog.

Sabrina has posted reviews of the fall gel e/s. Sad to read that the white one has chunky glitters, so I'll probably pass. From her swatches, I like Illusoire, Epatant, and Mirifique. Ok these names are really hard to spell! Usually I don't fuss about the names but recently I find chanel names getting harder.

Edit: I, for one, am relieved that the texture is different from the Armani ETK. IF I have the money for it, I'd like to try Emerveille and Illusoire. (And if they are different enough from my thousands of peachy and taupe shadows, lol!)

I want Emerveille but I want it to actually show up Peach on my eyelid. Most peaches just fall flat & give no real peachy peachy color which is what I want.

Where is the Live Journal link? I don't think Illusoire looks too horribly shimmery in Sabrina's blended out swatch, does it? At least not in the one outside, without flash. And I really like the finish on Ebloui and Emerveille blended out.
