Having fun with Parisian Skies and Jealousy Wakes (& AOMPL)...
I noticed that the blue shimmer in PS actually "migrated" across my lids a little (but NOT over my face, which is good), so that later in the day, when I blinked, I could see this cornflower-blue twinkling over my lids (PS was applied on the outer part of the lid initially). It blends extremely well.
Both PS and
JW (like Hocus Pocus) pack a LOT of punch. I found I could pat on a little for a lot of mileage. JW did require a little more to get the intensity I wanted, but I was going for something fairly bright, so that's not entirely surprising.
I really hope that Mac, or another company for that matter, do this sort of thing again. You can just feel that each of these shades mattered to someone, so the depth and quality are greater than they have been for some other recent collections.
This is spot on. After I put Hocus Pocus in the crease, I went of JW again just to bring the intensity back. It's not hard to work with, but you can build it. I actually had to redo one of my eyes because even though HP is so smooth, I dug in with my heavy-handed self. I was blending until my hand wanted to fall off, but I just stopped and tried again. These things are effortless. Great look, btw.
