Yesterday, I ended up ordering the Topkapi quad, Prelude quad, and Rouge Byzantin RA. I was tempted by the Rouge JC, but I am really scared of it LOL! I am rather fair and fear that I would look like a clown trying to wear it. I also passed (possibly temporarily) on the Or JC b/c I still have some Chanel's Gold Fever Highlighter left. I don't remember how old that highlighter is though, and I don't know how different it would be from the JC.
Does anyone know how similar/different the gold highlighting powder is from the new gold JC? Also how hard is the red JC to blend?

I got my goodies today!
They actually came while I was browsing/trying out some stuff at my local Nordies Chanel counter. The SA there recognized me and BEGGED me to bring in my Byzance stuff when I got it, so when I got home I put together a quick face and flew back to Nordies. I swear the entire makeup department came to take a look and had a collective
face. In thanks my SA (VERY nice girl btw) secretly set aside a Rose Tourbillon for me and snuck some of it out on a sponge for me to take home.
I'll upload pics shortly: me wearing Rose Cuivre + Etole + Braisse, the Rose Tourbillon sponge swatch + skin swatch, and of course Byzance swatches. I'll do a look with it all tomorrow methinks.

NC43-44/NARS Tahoe for reference. The lipstick isn't feathering, just some natural discoloration I have around my lips I forgot to cover--oops.

YES you need it. Words cannot describe how pretty this lippy is--when the light hits it there's a very tiny blue tint. If Chanel has nothing like it in their normal lineup I'm sorely tempted to grab a backup. I have a feeling I'm going to wear this down to the nub very quickly.

Wow - I think you look so beautiful! The colors & that lipstick is perfect on you! I agree - I have been tempted to get another of the ls. It is such a flattering color on.

I think I can see that in your picture too -- that must be the "hint of sapphire" in the description of the ls -- love it!

I picked up a few goodies from the Fall Collection. So far I've gotten Illusore and Khaki Platine. Epatant was on back order, so hopefully it will arrive soon. I also splurged on the Tokapi quad and Rouge JC, and I am eagerly awaiting their arrival. I test drove Illusore today...I figured today would be the perfect day to find out wearing power considering the 100 degree heat and 60%+ humidity. I experienced no fading and only minimal creasing, which is a freaking miracle since I was glistening, to put it delicately, within moments of walking out the front door. I did use a base underneath, which I'm sure helped immensely. I'm absolutely smitten, and cannot wait for Epatant to arrive, and I'm strongly considering that black one. Anyway...here are a few shots of my look. More, including full product details can be found in the link in my signature.

Thanks ladies! I'm still around...mostly lurking, though. It's my way of controlling my spending, lol. I do miss hanging out with you all, though!
