lol!! luckily Janice is sending me some of the samples from the collection so that cuts my spends down massively. all i am techically buying for myself is the kabuki, coral blush and the pink mes :)

I am just trying to avoid the SP thread. I know that I would get sucked into the hype (for the blushes & lip products) if I were to spend a lot of time looking at the SP thread. The swatches that I have seen, however, for the SP eyeshadows haven't impressed me at all.

Lucky you! At first I knew I only wanted Geo Pink and Gem of Roses but after reviews and swatches I got sucked into the kabuki, Naturally Eccentric, Smoked Ruby, Golden Gaze and I'm considering two blushes *sigh* I don't know how anyone can have a Chanel and MAC obsession - its too expensive!!

^^ I'm with you there - there are several things from SP that I want - one or two of the e/s, one of the blushes, the brushes, and a couple of the MSFs. And of course the lippies. It better be a 'quiet' fall....I may have to put my fingers in my ears!

I am getting more excited for this collection! I just realized that Vanities is the one Chanel quad that I actually used up (both initial purchase & backup). I will be buying a couple of these again! Yeah!

I personally don't think so - Chanel's quads are very universally flattering. Mine, which I've had for awhile, has very warm tones. It looks nice on me - in fact, I used it quite a lot when I got it, but as is usually the case, something else comes along to grab my attention ;). If you can check out swatches it might give you a better idea. Usually Karlasugar as some, and there are probably some in the Spektra swatch thread.

Did anyone happen to save the promo pics for the holiday collection? They're pulled from Karla's site, and even the cached pages aren't working anymore. I wanted to see what was in the sets again. <_<
