Mac gave me free 2 day ship from a past botched order so hopefully I'll have it Friday - if it went out today.

Please post a swatch of GS. I'm excited to see the veining.

clarity over lili marlene cream shadow and swiss chocolate on crese... a lil hocus pocus close to lashes///awesome friggin combo!!!! looooove how when the light hits u see the color sparkle or clarity. a pity the picture cant show it

Is that Clarity blue in the center? It looks great!

Help! I need advice. I bought the 179 and love it. My only problem is that the darker fibers (are those the synthetic ones?) are shedding every single time that I use it. At least 5 fibers fall out each time. Is this a defective brush that I should exchange or is this normal? I have only washed the brush gently with the brush cleanser from MAC. If I should exchange it, then I want to do it asap. Thanks ahead of time for the advice!

I think 5 fibers/day fallout is not unusual with a new brush. Most brushes shed a little bit at the beginning as there will be some loose hairs that just need to fall out. I had not shedding with my 179, but my 128 lost a few bristles. Nothing to worry about. I was my brushes every day and after a week or two, they usually stop shedding. If in doubt, take the brush to a store to discuss with the MUA, but I would only do that if the shedding is really bad.

I just sent my MUA a quick email. I may just go to MAC tomorrow & discuss it with her - if I haven't heard back from her by then. She is usually really good about emailing me back & CS. I am worried b/c it is shedding every time I use it. Maybe it will stop after a couple of weeks? I just want to make sure that it is normal, since this brush was mucho $$.

i used clarity today! mine has lots of gold in it so i love it! i just used UDPP under it as i was in a rush.. hopefully the fallout isnt too bad seeing as ill be out for more than 12 hours today and i have a dinner later on.. i just used clarity all over my lid and espresso in the crease and outer v.. simple smokey eye but clarity makes it look so gorgeous! i love it!

if possible can you post pics of the MES you have multiples for so that we can compare veining.... so jealous

I got the most beautiful Faux Gold ever. I couldn't have picked a better one myself. It has a thick coral veining and two blobs or burgundy. On the the other hand, my 4th BU of Goldstone has little-to-no burgundy in the nipple, but it will be o.k. given that I probably have enough GS to bronze a small village. I'm still glad I got it though as my f/s had sold the last one this weekend.

I went to mac today to get a couple of coloured bases for my mes. She recommended big bounce shadows. I hadn't got any of these when they launched due to bad reviews but then I thought if I had listened to some reviews on the mes I wouldn't of got them and I live the mes I got. Anyway, I ended up getting count your assets to wear with rare find and the plummy colour (something fortune) to wear with smoked ruby. They look amazing layered together and I am currently wearing the rare find combo with nars primer underneath and no crease issues. Defo worth a look!

For Ravenclaw I have HOS and BS on the lid with Bronze in the Crease...





For Gryffindor I used Golden Gaze on the lid with Smoked Ruby in the crease...

Have you tried it with a red-based paintpot as a base, e.g. Artifact p/p? This should bring out the red in SR.

Do you know where I might get artifact p/p? cant find it anywhere
