you and me both sister!I bought Golden Gaze and Unsurpassable... and dont know if i should order Blue Sheen, rare find and smoked ruby... Decisions, decisions... Wish i had the money to buy it all without having to think about it twice.
Do any of you folks have trouble with these mineral eyeshadows fading? I have both Golden Gaze and Unsurpassable and they look great when I put them on in the morning but are faded badly by lunch time.
I always use them over a base (either a MAC paint pot or the NYX white base), I've applied them both wet and dry but it doesn't seem to matter.
This AM I put the lighter green part of Unsurpassable on the inner half of my lid (applied wet), with MAC Blue Flame on the outer half. Blue Flame has faded a little but is mostly still there, while you can't tell I had anything on my inner lid at all .
These shadows are fun to look at and play with but I'm not loving their lasting power......
Is it just me?
I get better staying power by layering them on - either all dry or a combo of wet with dry on top. I let my eye cream and primer sink in well before I apply them. Applying them over Big Bounce shadows helps a lot too, if I want to take the time for that extra step.Do any of you folks have trouble with these mineral eyeshadows fading? I use UDPP with Golded Gaze, and it also lasts all day for me. I love UDPP!I use UDPP with Clarity alone and it lasts all day (8 hours) foiled even more. With the Big Bounce over UDPP and a MES well over 12 hours.
mine don't fae on me. i tend to use udpp as a primer. then apply a base like a paint pot or greasepain stick, then i apply the shadow wet. and when it has dried i apply some of the mes dry but patting it on top to 'seal' it in works a treatDo any of you folks have trouble with these mineral eyeshadows fading? I guess the collection sold well after all! yay!!I went to indianapolis and chicago and oh damn... 6 stores and they all ONLY had unsurpassable and jade's fortune. I get why unsurpassable wouldnt work for everyone, but.... jade's fortune is very very very beautiful. i think people might get turned off by its yellow veining but its my fav after clarity.
Yup, after people got over the bad reviews and swatched for themselves. Yeah.I guess the collection sold well after all! yay!!
