Oh Tatyiona! Now you've done it. You are my lipstick enabler.
I want all the lipsticks again. Smoked Purple is just too pretty not to at least own. I also need to look into the Wet&Wild shade 919B. That is gorgeous!! I don't recall seeing that shade. I'm wondering if it's new? My question about Smoked Purple, I know you mentioned it was definitely more matte feeling than Prince Noir, but did you find it difficult to put on and wear? Thank you for the swatches!!!!
PS: Never mind Tatyiona. I had to go back & admire your swatches again and I re-read what you wrote about Smoked Purple and having no issues with it. Runaway Red is an amazing shade. I can't wait to buy from this colleciton.

I just applied smoked purple again and it does pull a little but it isn't nearly as bad as temptalia makes it seem. It applies wayyyyy better than ruby woo and Russian red.Oh Tatyiona! After examining my current makeup hoard (it no longer is appropriate to call it just a "stash"), I have altered my list. I should stay away from this thread until next week. yeah right!

I have talked myself out of:
1) Smoked Purple b/c its perm & I can get it later
2) Evil Eye quad b/c as a previous post reminded me I have the Chanel quad from a few seasons back that I never use. So if I don't use that quad why get this? Plus reviews have been less than stellar
3) Mythical b/c I honestly don't think that I will use it that much. Plus maybe saffron mixed with a frost could give me something similar?
4) Shadesticks - I have bought these before & never use them completely before I need to toss them. Maybe the formula this time is better? Who knows? Plus I really want all of the paint pots coming up for pretty much the same uses as these.
5) Fluidlines - I have MC fluidlines still over half full that need to be used
6) Blushes - I have too many blushes, face powders, highlighters, and bronzers as it is. Especially after semi precious and a recent Chanel haul.

After a monster haul from Sephora, I've decided to wait until I can see these items in person. I'll make the trip to Mac next Saturday to see if anything interests me. I will probably pass on Cakeshop in the end. The real reason I wanted it is b/c I was in desperate need of anything close to Urban Nature primer by Bare Escentuals. I thought that product would break me out, but I bought it today and wore it around w/o any problems. I still have a slight interest in Heirloom and the Lady Grey quad although I just bought the new Chanel quad. Hell, I'll find at least one thing to buy even if it's just a brush. I'm not going all the way there just to leave with nothing!

I got to check out everything at my counter this afternoon. The shadesticks were creamy and pigmented. My fav MA liked Tundra but I don't really have a use for it. I'm gonna get Cakeshop since I think it will look nice with Unsurpassable from Semi-Precious. Street Cool was a nice taupey purple so I may end up with that one too. The quads were okay. The shadows are okay. Moleskin swatched so smooth. My hands were kinda dry so that may be the reason why Carbonized and Stunner didn't swatch well on me. Speaking of Stunner, my counter already had all of their stock of Stunner put on hold. I did get to try it on though. I think it will look better on paler ladies and my fav MA agreed. I'm tan right now and it looked like a plain pink blush. All of their Seasides were put on hold too, but my MA wasn't impressed with it so I probably won't hunt it down. The fluidlines are really nice, definitely getting Midnight Blues. I don't usually like dark lip colors, but Plum Fun lipglass looked nice. Offshoot and Oh Oh Oh didn't take much convincing. So my list is:

I've now tried out all my goodies and am pleased with my haul, but overall kind of underwhelmed with the collection. I will say that I think that there are a number of good products, but I've been collecting long enough that I felt like I'd seen them before.

I also have pictures of a couple of looks I did with my new goodies. I do love the way that the shades in the LG quad work together and Mythical is really, really pretty. I do wish that the Evil Eye quad would have been better, but I suppose my wallet can breathe a little easier now.
