I completely agree with you re swatches... They are always my go to reference So far these looks amazing...I am just picturing all the dreamy purple/plum/violet smokey eye looks that could be created with these.....

this x 10000!!!I am SO GLAD that these Paint Pots are not the transparent loser ones from Cham Pale. I'm definitely picking up the light gold one and the violet one (Treasure Hunt and Half-Wild). I can't justify getting any of the other purple ones though, since I already have Mauvism Paint and a bunch of purple cream shadows from other brands.
For the record, one of the Paint Pots looks almost exactly like Artifact...I can't remember the name now, thoughThey seem really, really close and I wasn't able to actually compare them, but I own Artifact and since I only use it as a base for powder shadows, I don't see the need for both.
Nubile is gorgeous-it's not super shimmery, and if I didn't already own Perky and Girl Friendly from Fafi, it would be coming home with me as well. It's funny, I love bright colors and super unique shades, but when I swatched all of these on my arm, Nubile stood out to me because it was just so creamy and lovely.
For some reason we hadn't gotten all of the Mattenes in yet; I think they're in a box that we haven't unpacked yet. I am DYING to try the lavender one, Fresh Amour, because lavender is my all-time favorite makeup color, but that's one of the ones we didn't get. The ones we did get didn't seem like anything special so I honestly didn't pay enough attention to remember names/descriptions (remember, I was distracted by all the beautiful Paint Pots!)...I do love the Mattene formula though so I'm sure I'll find a need to get at least a few of these
Oh and Immortal Nail Polish? AMAZING. It looks like liquid gold...kind of like Old Gold Pigment in a bottle!

yayy! i called PRO NYC and since i am still in class till 330 they put my items on hold and will need to pick them up before they close i put on hold all 8 paint pots and 4 of the mattenes ( fresh amour, naked bliss, rare exotic and delectable ) but i might want to get more at the store!

I want to say it's the one called Idyllic...I'll check at work tonight but I'm pretty sure that's the one. If Artifact is more like a cranberry color, then Idyllic is more rusty. It was definitely shimmery, just a bit more brown-based and a little lighter than Artifact
I won't know for sure until I see them side-by-side but that's what it seemed like last week when I swatched it anyway!crap.. forbidden has just hopped onto my list!

I just got back from PRO and due to my trip to Vegas last week I could only get 2 of the paint pots. Until tomorrow that is!!!! I brought Imaginary and Hyperviolet home with me. I picked these two to go with the billions of purple shadow I cant seem to stop buying. Also I was thinking along the lines of a base for when the MUFE palette finally releases in the States. I will be picking up Half-Wild tomorrow because of the aforementioned obsession with purple. I also have Blue Creation on hold as well as Rare Exotic. I wanted to return and compare it to Immodest mattene. I'm of the opinion that Treasure Hunt swatches like an Illamasqua liquid metal. There is a paint pot for every paint pot lover out there. You will have fun figuring out which one that is.

Looking at Temptalia's swatch it almost looks like an inky blue more than a navy blue. I thought it would be more navy. It looks more navy in amarixe's swatches though. I'll wait to check them all out in person too.

i love them too! such a great little collectionHeavens above, Imaginary looks AMAZING!!!! And Eden Rouge is screaming my name! I cannot wait until the barrage of swatches begins in earnest so I can start to sort out what exactly I am going to splurge on.......
