Yay! No problem! Delectable is OK. I can't wear it full on. I have to sheer it out for it to be wearable. It's so opaque.

I went back and grabbed Imaginary PP. The MA complimented me on my eye look which was Half Wild PP and Contrast e/s in the crease. Those colors look great together.

Regretting my Potent Fig purchase a little bit. I still love the colour, but as with previous mattenes, it dried out my lips really badly.

It's a finicky colour to apply, and goes on a bit patchy. I tried a few different techniques, straight from the tube, brush, thin layers, blotting.. I still haven't found a good application procedure for this one. As my lips dry out and start looking cracked (I have kind of deep lines in my lips anyway), the colour will settle into those lines. As the day goes on, and I need to reapply, it gets worse, even if I remove the entire lip, and start over.

If you have MUFE Rouge Artist #14, you really don't need this. $14 is a bit cooler, with more shimmer, but they're pretty close. Potent Fig is a tiny bit redder. MUFE #14 is much more comfortable to wear, as well.

Christine from Temptalia said the same thing about Potent Fig, I won't be purchasing it; I guess I get to save some money . Also thanks for recommending the Mufe's Rouge Artist l/s, I intend to pick some up next year at IMATs and #14 will be on my list!

No, I didn't buy Fresh Amour because I could see me having to fiddle with it to make it look right. I've been tempted by your pic and the pics and swatches that I've seen, but I can't spend my time or a client's time fussing with it. I have the same problem with Naked Bliss, BTW. I prime, I put it on and then it starts to look ashy. I've been placing Social Lite l/g over it and that helps. *sigh* I'm still looking for the perfect peachy-pink nude that gives opaque color. Delectable is damned near to it, but it's off; maybe too peachy, IDK.

I'm so in love with Nubile and Treasure Hunt at the moment. I really hope that Nubile becomes perm at some point.

It's the perfect base for evening out the lids for color. Do you think that I should buy a 3rd or do you think that something from Glitter & Ice will fill the need?

I picked up Potent Fig, Half-Wild and Genuine Treasure. Tried PF yesterday and I agree that it's very patchy. I put Docile over it but it still didn't work that well. Will try with a lip brush but if it's still bad, I'm going to return it. Did anyone find the Half-Wild pp really dry? I found it so hard to put on, even with a brush. It looked patchy and overdone. Might be returning that one too.

My Half Wild pp was smooth, not patchy at all, very easy to apply w/ finger and brush. Maybe you got a bad one?

Nubile is right on point. It also has that sheen, depth that Painterly is lacking. I am going to get another one as this one will be my HG base over my Nars Smudgeproof. I never back up PPs but this is a must.

Nubile is the only PP that I have backed up from this collection - also 2x. I love this color so much! It is a fantastic nude base and kicks painterly's arse!

I have thought about backing up a couple more PP, but I don't think that I will use them enough to justify it. I will probably use nubile at least 4x a week.

I got three of them, so I should be good until 2013.

I was not a fan of Fresh Amour either because I would also have to really fiddle with it. I have been using NB as sort of a lip base (if that makes any sense), and then I layer a much darker color ls over it. It helps to tone down the darker colors for my NW 20 (soon to be NW 15 when winter rolls around) skin. I also cannot wear it alone.

fresh amour over a little of loud and lovely (its too blue based for my taste so i put a lil fucsia gloss so its not as matte and ass blue)

Fair enough. No complaints from my side. After all, MAC is a business and if they can make more money with LE, more power to them. I know what products I love and how likely it is that I run out in the future, and accordingly, I back up my purchases.
