I found a leaning bookcase for a great deal -- so now I just have to find some throw pillows and stuff (but I'll be heading to Target and Home Goods for that)

Did you find your Chanel brush in with your jewelry perhaps?

Those leaning bookcase are really nice. We got one a couple years ago. You can find them at really reasonable prices.

I almost told you that no, I didn't find it in my jewelry box. Really though, it could have been anywhere knowing how forgetful I can be.

^ Chanel eyeliner is not as fine as YSL, imo.. and YSL is waterproof.

Ahh, thanks! What is the natural color of your lips? Mine are (I hate them) purpley mauvey Famous does look more like RC on my lips.I really did not think that Enivree was going to show. Thats awesome that you can do deeper/brighter lips cause not everyone can

My top lip is a browney-mauve, but my bottom lip is pretty much the same color as Enivree (minus the sparkle, of course). When I tried everything out it was a cloudy day, so I'm tempted to retry them now that it's sunny again. Maybe Famous will look more red/pink in the sun.

Famous and Rouge Byzantin looked exactly alike on both my arm and my lips--the SA couldn't tell I had on two different colors when I put Famous on one half of my lips, RB on the other. The highlighter came off pretty chalky on me so I'd say if you're deeper than an NC40, leave it. It was also much smaller than pictures made it seem.

Ended up walking away with Rouge Carat (can't wait to apply it!), the new foundation brush #6, the new Crayon Sourcils eyebrow pencil, and Rouge Allure in Fabulous. Sorry for no swatches, it's raining today and by the time I got home everything rubbed off onto my sweater. >_<

Thank you so much! You just saved me some money. As I already have Rouge Byzantin and am head over heels in love with it, I can skip this. I'd planned on hauling Guerlain Rouge Automatique in Liu for a flat 'bright' red luxury lippie.

OK, I need in with these thin liners. I use an itty bitty brush with the fluidline -- and seriously, why I am so challenged? I cannot get a perfect line/wing. Then I end up going back to pencil, which smudges in my inner corner. Tips anyone??

I kind of lost my mind at Chanel today. I bought:

The Highlighting powder
Famous lipstick
Or eyeliner
Triomphal gloss
Sparkle D'Or glossimer

I haven't gotten to play with them yet, as I got them right before work, but I can't wait to. And, who am I kidding; I want those eyeshadows, too! ...and maybe a blush?

Well, I need better EYES to see where the heck I'm lining

I have 3 of the MAC Superslick liquid el & they are very very thin & really nice to line with. But, I am going to get the YSL one

The easiest for me is the Bobbi Brown gel liner with a thin slanted brush. I use Espresso in the lash line over a medium brown pencil,

I absolutely adore Liu! I bought it a month ago and it's been my go-to glam lipstick. This is saying a lot coz most of my lipsticks are "glam" shades of red, burgundy,...I 100% recommend it! Liu is not very flat though, it has very obv pink tones to it, so it's a deep pink toned red. At least on me it is. I'm NW25 and have pigmented raspberry shade lips.

Elegant - Your pictures are always so elegant (like u), they make me wanna run and buy everything! As soon as this collection hits the counters in Canada, I shall run and get Triomphal. I will also get Famous as we didn't get RB here and I sadly missed out. This collection is going to be a lipstick haul for me. Famous, Triomphal and Empire, can't wait!

I will be getting my package tomorrow -- I can try to swatch Enviree next to Joyeuse and Confidentielle -- or at least compare them when I have them all together.

Elegant--your swatches look gorgeous! I'm glad that Enivree and Famous worked out for you--I was disappointed in them myself, but I figured they'd be much more outstanding on paler skin. I'm mostly irritated about Famous, and wish it came off more red like Rouge Carat....ah well. I guess on the flipside I can pull off the brighter/deeper colors most shy away from.

I think you should give Triomphal a try!

Chanel Empire Laque - its a vintage strawberry rose color with the same beautiful gold shimmer. Lovely color that just works with everything else in this collection.
It not a brighter rose pink like some of the other pics we've seen.

This may be my favorite collection of all time
