Even a wee little peek, so I feel a little better about the insanity I've driven myself into. Happily pink and peachy with a touch of rose! Lip products and blushes. lol Hopefully someday I will convince you all to share pics of some blush drawers just to soothe my senses. I literally can spend hours going from YouTube video to YouTube video, watching collections, scribbling down names of products, filling my carts. A year ago I had one blush. One. And then the line was dropped. I vowed to never get into that rut and be blushless again. I think I've done well fixing that problem.

Oh dear. I love them both. I don't have much in the way of peach blushes either. And that pink is so soft and lovely looking. Hmm.... Tempted yet again!

So about hoarding. Right now I own about 100 blushes, not counting bronzers, shimmers, MSF's, powders, and backups. I hope these have a long shelf life. Please say I am not the only one doing this? Please?

Now I won't feel so bad if I order a few more blushes . . . LOL I am loving the looks of Brun Rose and Tweed Rose

And then there are the Laura Mericer blushes I always want to try (Lush Nectarine, Lotus Pink, Rose Petal) -- but I always get sidetracked by Chanel.

I have starting giving some of my makeup to my sisters. I had so many blushes or shadows that I used once or twice and they are always willing to take them off my hands! Then I have a 'lil more room in my stash

No, we can't hang it yet because the walls need refinished & the repair dude has not gotten back with us yet

No sense in hanging it until all the dust from the wall sanding is done. But I am SO excited to. Yes, I saw all the PB ones which are beautiful, but most were to big for the space. Arhaus was running a 15% the day we went, but then they weren't in stock. I can't wait to open the box

I wore Empire & Brun Rose blush today with a dusty pink tweed jcrew skirt & a grey t-shirt - perfect color match for the skirt

Just back from Nordstroms. Got the highlighter, Rouge Carat, Triomphe and Enviree. Normally I gravitate to red lippies (and nobody does red lips as well as Chanel) but Enviree is just gorgeous. Not sure how I am going to wear it but will find a way. Oh and I got the holiday Meteorites. Gorgeous!

I am on a highlighter kick right now. I will be glowing all winter.

well it looks like you ladies have been bolstering up the economy with your purchases yet again. enjoy!!.

debi, I have about 80+ MAC blushes (in addition to 4 blush palettes) 16 Chanel, 12 Guerlain, and Givenchy.. and a few drawers full of varied lines like Tarte, Smashbox, Laura Geller, Cargo, NARS, etc. etc... these are just the blushes.

and then there are the highliters and the special effects and the meterorites and the Doctor whites and and and.. It is part of my work to try out different lines which are not provided to me to test as comps, but I get a perverse kick out of buying mu too.. lol.

I know I am not a hoarder cause I give a lot away as well but it does get uncomfortable and I am becoming more and more selective as to what I actually purchase.

that all said, I have not bought any Holiday stuff from Chanel.. it is lovely, but doesn't ring my bell at this time.

My highlight powder arrived today! Gorgeous! It will be a shame to take a brush to it though, but I don't spend that kind of $$ just to look at a product.

Does anyone have thoughts on Feerie? Is it LE? Is it that different from the other loose powders?

Also would you say the BR is better suited for someone with warm undertones (keeping fingers crossed) or cooler tones? Still deciding about this one....

OT: Which color combo of the meteorites is the best for someone who is fair with warm undertones?

Smooch! I love you! Now I feel better! So what if I have absolutely no job and nothing that relates to buying or wearing MU other than my humble blog? I am having fun and that is what counts. At least everything gets worn and hopefully has a long shelf life (at least the powder ones, especially if I have not touched them yet!). Seriously, how long do you keep your powder blushes? I am pretty selective in what I buy, though it doesn't sound like it. It has to be something I can and will wear, or I won't buy it. I love that I am experimenting with different looks and colours and stepping out of my rut in a big way. I pay attention to neighbours and all the women always look the same. I can go without seeing them for a years and when I run into them they look older, but have the exact same colour schemes on their eyes, their lips, etc., or a lack of anything at all. Last December I tossed out my tired MU and started fresh and keep getting compliments. I must be doing something right. And the only blush I really loaded up on was MAC's Sakura. That lovely purple pink blush was made for me! Since it was LE I really wanted backups! I don't really have anyone to pass anything on to if it doesn't work for me, which is why I am so careful and swatch a lot! My nieces are too young, my mother never wore MU and is 88 yrs old, so not about to change, my sister stopped wearing it too. I am all alone in my passion.

So, one day it is Chanel, the next Tarte, the next MAC, the next Illamasque, etc. I won't even get into my passion for perfume! Yikes!

I have no meteorites. Probably something I should look into....

Lost my mind at Nordstrom today.... got much of the collection. Passed on the Highlighter. It is an ashy mess on me. I don't know WHAT it's supposed to highlight, as it's not particularly sheer. I was surprised at the opacity of the powder.

Got another Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon. Yeah, it's that good.

My highlighter and Beige Lame arrived late yesterday afternoon. Love the highlighter. Sometimes when I order online I open the box and think "Hmmm...I would not have gotten this if I had seen it in person", but the highlighter I would definitely have bought in person, so I was very relieved about that. Beige Lame is a warmish, almost peachy/orange-tinged light brown on me....or at least that's how it looked in my bathroom lighting last night.

I'm not sure how much I'd like the color if not for the shimmer, but the multicolored shimmer is absolutely amazing, making BL quite unique.
