Oh, I had the Pearl CCB & BL in the crease like above like Winthrop suggested but then I used just the pink color strip in the Bronze Rose on just the lid & added some more of the BL in the crease. then as a blush, I used just that same pink in the Bronze Rose palette & used Brun Rose blush just on the apples

I also tried BL with Nars soft touch shadow pencil in Goddess with Beige Lame in the crease & it was really pretty too.

Sounds like a gorgeous combo! Do you like Brun Rose? I haven't seen it in person yet, but was never a huge fan of the tweeds. I think it's the gold in it 'scaring' me off -

The gold in the tweeds goes away almost immediately....I "dig in" and remove it upon receipt tbh .

But the only one I have is Tweed Fuchsia. Oh and Rose subtil, but that should be called Rose Invisible.

Hey Miss QQ, I bought my items from the Chanel store at Ion. There are some really nice SAs there. As much as I want to bring home BG, I have many gold eye shadows, I'm not sure if it was a good buy so I left it out. The sparkles in BL got me, I had to have it :). I was also very tempted with the brush set too but just spend a bomb on Hakuhodo brushes so, I will have to resist.

I do really love BR. The gold doesn't really show up very much - a lil shimmer. But, the color is a subtle peachy pink coral. I only have BR & the last pink tweed whatever its name was :) .I never cared for the tweeds either before these 2.

Thats it winthrop - Tweed Fuchsia

I'm sorry Elegant One I did not see the question. Well, Brompton Rose is a light pink on my cheeks but still wearable and visible. Somehow I did not notice any gold in mine. :)

review and swatches on my blog.

I managed to swatch the fairy powder, it is a very light pink and sparkly. As much as I like it, I was wondering whether it would be too much for everyday wear.

I am an evil enabler. Anyway I blame all of you here for my growing Chanel collection too. Following this thread is bad for the wallet.

Was there ever a general consensus on the Fairy powder? I have to admit it is tempting me.

I decided to cave and buy it - sight unseen as that was the only way I could (my stores didn't get it) - I will keep you posted when I get it.

Has anybody tried the brush set yet? I was looking at it today, but they had it inside this stupid case so I couldn't play with them :(

Your lip bag (and the mirror) are up on the Chanel site Michelle!

Thanks for the heads up! Does anyone know the price on the mirror? It's listed as Out of Stock right now. Also the price of the Smoky Eye kit? Actually, all the blushes are listed as out of stock right now too. Maybe they are updating the site.

Edit - I just found the answers to my questions at Karla Sugar. If anyone else is interested the mirror is $42 and the Eye kit is $125. Here's the link:
