Ok guys with you all talking about winged liner I could not resist posting this youtube link. My daughter sent it to me today.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cIsvGm-Dzw&list=LL5KxciUOHiFHgT0nm6SIHiQ&index=3&feature=plpp_video

rofl I will never complain again about not being able to wing out my eyes properly! Yikes! Cute video!

I also have had hooded eyes since I was young and my inner corner is monolid-ish. I am part Native American and this is simply the shape of my eyes, so creases and wings are always a challenge! So is using an eyelash curler. My brow bone come forward so much that it is hard to get the cage of the curler close enough to actually grab onto my lashes. My lashes are pretty lengthy, but they are blond at the tips, so mascara makes them look much nicer. As I have aged I have noticed a few lower lashes missing! I want them back!!

I will definitely ask for a gift box in the future! I am so disappointed but as soon as UPS delivered my teeny box I knew it wasn't included. Bah, humbug!

Hi Ladies!

Got my email this morning about free overnight shipping for Chanel.com by 3 pm EST.

Elegant -- I hope we don't crash their system with all of our orders!

Jmarie & MissQQ -- I like the UD Naked 2 palette. It is a bit cooler than the first. I especially like a silvery shade that is in the second palette. The packaging is much better in the 2nd palette (heavy duty metal that closes tight) versus the first (a velvet box that attracts lint and whatever particles are around it). The downside is that there aren't enough matte shades in either palette.
I'm like you -- between my MAC neutrals, Chanel neutral quads, and the 2 UD palettes -- I am pretty much good to go for neutral shadows!

I was wondering which of the two Nakeds has the cooler colors. The first one in general was way too warm for my taste.

Thanks for the heads' up on the shipping Bonitinha! Strangely enough there isn't anything screaming BUY ME NOW at the moment since everything else I'm wanting is perm, so...good for my wallet.

Ingenue~So pretty! Those colours look fantastic on you! What lipstick are you wearing? It goes nicely with the eyes so was wondering if it was one that is part of the collection!

Michelle~Thanks for the reminder! I just ordered a backup of Kensington and Hyde Park, plus April n/p. I am wearing Graphite today and was immediately reminded at how wonderful their polishes are, even if they don't last long on me. So pretty! And I asked for a gift box this time, so while it will certainly be small, that is fine with me and might be more useful anyhow! I hope it is pretty!!

Thanks for the compliment Elveneyes... love your pic too ( I meant to comment earlier... Boo to me)!

That's By Terry's new Rouge Shimmer Terrybly in Kiss Me Quick. It's like a pinky plum.

I got my Knightsbridge goodies last night around 7 pm. UPS was running late. Everything looks wonderful! I tried the brompton blush today. I love the color but not the glitter. This product gives a whole new meaning to the word glitterbomb! I only used a little product from the edges to avoid the CC's, and glitter was everywhere. It looks amazing untouched in the pan, but it took me a while using brushes and concealer to tone down the glitter. As much as I would hate to do it, I am contemplating brushing off all of the glitter before I use it again.

I was going to try all of the lip products this morning, but once I put on Hyde Park I didn't want to take it off. Amazing color! Definately backup worthy! I love this color!

Just when I thought that I was done with Chanel.com for a while, the free overnight shipping is tempting me to buy backups.... Must be strong!

I also bought Naked 2 and love it. I signed up for an alert from Urban Decay and was able to purchase it while it was briefly in stock about a week ago. I agree that between the 2 naked palettes, you will end up with almost all of the neutrals that you need.

I have read rumors that UD is going to be releasing a third neutral palette that has primarily matte shadows. I hope that these rumors turn out to be true.

Ingenue: Very pretty look!

Elven eyes: Chanel polishes really don't last long on my nails either. I did bite the bullet & purchase both the Chanel base & top coats. Believe it or not, these products do seem to extend the wear of the polish on my nails. I apply each product & wait about 20 minutes before applying the next - have to be sure that something good is on TV while waiting for everything to dry - and I have been getting 2x the wear that I used to get. Yes that is only about 4-5 days, but it is better than 2.

Ingenue--pretty! How did you get the Eclosion quad to show up? I'm maybe a shade or two lighter than you and on me it was a glittery, ashy hot mess.

Thanks Queen of Snark! I actually didn't do anything extra ... just used the quad as is. It's GLITTERY on you? Wow. The only glittery color for me is the gold. The others are all soft shimmers and they show up with no problem. The pigmentation and color saturation in my quad is excellent. I'm sorry to hear that it looks ashy. The only thing I can think of is maybe a difference in undertones. I'm pretty yellow underneath, and they're not ashy on me at all.

My youtube video link was certainly not intended to offend anyone. I and my daughter also have somewhat of hooded lids and have difficultly in achieving a good winged out look.

Debi--and well other Harry Potter fans my daughter said this same girl has some great Harry Potter and such as well as parodies such as Shakespeare, Harry Potter, and some nerdy ones.

Ingenue--You look great. You have such pretty eyes are as cute as can be.

Queenofsnark -- you can save you $ for later or another collection! The overnight complimentary shipping is so tempting, though . . . ;)

Ingenue -- love the look -- fabulous!

Debi -- you gotta love the free overnight shipping! I used Imagination RA today with my Brompton blush (with my bright pink cardi -- hey, why not??). If you don't have Imagination, you should get it, too :)

Haven -- the first time I used Brompton blush, I had the glitter overspray all over my counter. It was so heartbreaking, but I brushed it all off. Now I get the pretty pink cheeks sans glitter!

Oh I meant to ask you guys what is your general opinion on the Harmony blush? Sorry if this has been discussed before. My searching abilities seem to be quite limited at the moment.

The pics are haunting me. I really do not need another blush as I have enough to blush an entire town. This of course has not stopped me from buying a ginormous amount of eye shadow. I have more than enough for a small country.

Maybe the pretty stripes are attracting the ADD part of my brain:)

I'm pretty yellow myself, so I'm thinking maybe my counter's tester quad probably didn't have the best pigmentation. Plus I only swatched it on my arm, it might be totally different on my eyes. I'll try Eclosion out again just to be sure.

Ingenue - that is beautiful on you ! It really makes your eyes stand out.

Michelle - there's nothing left to order at chanel.com - I bought it all.

I Since they cannot figure out why I am not getting their emails, I did not get that ship code

So what is the code - just in case

Never mind - I see it on the site ;)

MissQQ - I thought it might be a bit too shimmery for me, but your right, using shadow on top makes that less apparent. I was wondering about Cascade because I saw it somewhere.

Merry Christmas, Happy Everything!!! Love you all!

I missed the free shipping by 7 minutes =( I was going to buy Kensington and Belgravia and almost hit submit..then changed my mind and took out a color and the shipping went back to $8. It's a sign lol

I hope these don't sell out TOO fast.
