Queen, I know the right job will come your way. Hang in there!

Winthrop, Bagatelle is definitely more salmon-y for me too. And Superstition is beige, but with a tinge of pink on me.....or much help I know, given my transparent lips, but there it is ;).

Gail and Elegant -- so are you getting Candeur??

Shadowaddict -- enjoy Horizon once you get it -- you will love it :)

Nicala -- so glad you got the blush. Is this your first or have you been into Chanel for a while?

MissQQ -- great list -- you can't go wrong with any of those colors!

Cheryl -- did you have a great Christmas with your boys home? How are the new pups?

My first blush, definitely not my last! I'm hoping to build my Chanel collection little by little. So far I own VA, Epitant Id'O and now Horizon. Bagatelle Glossimer looks pretty, but I think I'm going to pass on it for now.

Shypo! How are you, dear? *hugs*

I had a job interview myself yesterday, and while it went well, I'm not certain I want to work at that agency. I've another one on Monday, so I'll borrow that hat from you for it, QueenOfSnark!
I had to treat myself for the interview, so I went first to MAC and then to Chanel and got the Horizon blush with the christmas money my grandma gave me. Now I'm absolutely broke, tho - it's incredible, the blush is 56 euros, that's 71 dollars!

Oh Lord! 56 €???!!!! That's insanely pricy, but at the same time, it is so beautiful ... The collection is not still out in here, although I think that if has already appear in Germany, it won't be too long for it to do it in here too =)

Anneri and QoS, I am sending all the positive thoughts and tons of e-luck. I hope you find soon a wonderful job (with a big big paycheck that allow you to splurge ...

I can't wait until the end of January when I can buy the blush! I looked at the weight and price, and it turns out that you get 0.53oz for around £40, compared to 0.21oz for £17 in a regular MAC blush. So basically it's great value for money

QoS--so sorry to hear about the job let down.

I'm crossing my fingers for you and Anneri in hopes that good things come your way soon.

Boni--How are you finding the size of the small Maryanne? I don't see much difference in the size of it and the Elizabeth. I think the Elizabeth is a bit wider on the sides making more room inside but that's about it. I can't decide if one of those would be too small for me. But the large Maryanne I think would be too big and that would make me shove more junk in it. I do love the quilted leather so I'm pretty sure I will go with one of those.

I love the style of this one but the leather looks stiff. I haven't seen it in person so perhaps it isn't but I like the bow.

A while back the sa at KS store told me for spring there will be some coral bags coming out and they should start getting those mid Jan and Feb. Of course that made me think of how much I love corals.

What is everyone's opinion of bags of an "in" color? Do you think after the trend and a new color is the thing then will the other colors be kind of "out" of style? I know that a red bag will always be classic when you want color but curious what you guys think of say the purples, pinks, corals, and such? If your spending a bit on a bag should you play it safe with the always classic colors?

Wow reading this one might think I have decision making issues:)

Anneri, I wish the best of luck to you too!

About bags and colors...as I mentioned early I'm not really a bag aficionado (my money goes to makeup, video games, and computer stuff LOL), so since I don't buy bags often I stick with classic colors. I like the idea of having bags in fun colors though--I have a burnt orange bag that I love pulling out every once in a while just for a fun kick. :3 I personally would put the bulk of my funds to something classic but if a trendy color's on sale, go for it!

I am loving the small Maryanne. It is actually a good size for me. My last bag was huge and had a gigantic center pocket -- everything got lost even in the pocket and I could never find my keys, phone, etc. The Elizabeth is really cute too -- the dimensions are pretty comparable -- like you said, just a bit wider.
I love that bag with the bow! Oh my word -- so cute. I wish we had a store here -- even our major department stores don't carry KS. Lame.
I love the idea of trendy colored bags. I think a pop of coral would be fun. You've inspired me to go to TJ Maxx to see what fun designer bags they have there for cheap. I have picked up some cute no name bags from Target, etc -- they are cute and colorful, but inexpensive.

p.s. on Katespade.com they are having an extra 25% off ofsale prices. Looks like quite a few have sold out, but the cute Charlize (the one MissQQ likes) is on sale. That would be a nice bag for a date night or for when you only need to carry a few items.

^^ Hi Elegant! I've been meaning to ask you if you've bought anything from the MAC Naturally collex. I usually only hang out on the Chanel boards, so I don't get to read up on everything else. Is the mineralized pink blush a must? What about a perfect day l/s?
I am sick again . . . le sigh. Just trying to get some rest . . . and of course, it makes me want to online shop lol

I bought In The Sun & Twilight eyeshadows, 3 blushes but only ended up liking the pink one - its a very nice sweet pink on. I LOVE Flamingo & Sweet Sunrise ls A perfect day was ok on me - not dislike, but its a nice slight pinked nude but not pink enough I think. I love Sweet Sunrise because it softens my pigmented lips. I also bought Party Parrot but it won't be here until Mon.

Hugs - I hope you feel better. Hubs has been sick with that darn sore throat cough thing ,,,blech.

I will definitely check out the pink blush! I need to go swatch all the lippies -- if I can ever get to feeling normal again. What about the blonde and redhead MSF? I didn't pick those up when they were released before (not sure if they are too shimmery??)
I ended up going to urgent care today because I felt so sick, I thought I was going to faint. So now I have to take antibiotics and use this inhaler thing for 10 days for a sinus infection. The doc said it would take 48 hours before I was feeling better :/
I hope your husband gets to feeling better, too!

I am so sorry, I hope you feel better soon. Have you ever used a Neti Pot? It has stopped my recurring yearly sinus infection. Probiotics help, too.

Re: MAC collections

I am not a MAC fan, actually I think until past couple of days I owned only 2 lipsticks.

But I saw promo pic of Natually collx and got to give MAC a try.

I got Perfect Day lipstick and agree with elegant it is pretty nude but could be just a tiny bit pinker. I wore it yesterday and it made my lips chapped, it is so drying compared with my fave Burberry lips. But it felt good to pay $14 compared to $30.
I initally passed on Flamingo but decided to go back for it yesterdy, went to 2 MAC counters and both were out of Flamingo as well a perfect Day.

As a side treat at MAC I picked up Frankly Scarlet bright red blush since I passed on Chanel's red byzantine. I would like to know how this one compares to Chanel's because when Chanel came out I remeber reviewers were saying there is nothing like it, or compared it to Dollymix which is clearly pinkish.
Anyway, it is love.

Wore it yesterday and it lasted untouched over my 3 hours dance training and after there was nothing needed to fix.
