I was wondering, does the deep teal in the Colour Added quad look anything like the Deep Blue Green pigment? It looks similar to me and I think I can achieve similar results.

Runaway Red looks so brown in the Temptalia swatch. Its so much brighter and bluer in real life!

yes exactly... I can't figure out why hers is swatching like that. It looks nothing like that in real life.

So on point! LOL
Needless to say, this kind of tragedy could be prevented by MAC HAVING ENOUGH STOCK!
Pardon my shouting, but this syndrome has affected me, as well as many others of whom I know, and it's so horrible, and so easily preventable.

So glad to see swatches for Call Me Bubbles and Shop Drop. Those are definitely staying on my list. Now I just have to figure out if I want to keep Colour Added on there.

Thank goodness I drop a lot of $$$ at my regular MAC store because I got to see the 'displays' for this and swatch some of the products.

For the lipsticks, I skipped Innocence, Beware (Tyrone Biggums anyone?), Naughty Saute and Runaway Red (it still looks orange on me). Dish it Up is nice but somewhat sheerer than I like in my lipsticks. Quick Sizzle looks so hot! And I love how the matte feels smooth (think Iris Apfel) and not hard and dry. Watch me Simmer is of course, the *star* and rightfully so. Very pigmented (as an Amplified finish should be). It's like Vegas Volt's slightly pink cousin.

The blushes I tried were Optimistic Orange and Florida. Both are so gorgeous on and will definitely pop on darker skintones. OO had more of a tangerine peach color than orange when I swatched it on me (I'm an NW43 for reference). Florida is definitely a bright fuchsia and I didn't have to use much to get it to show up. Restores Dazzle! was eh for me so I passed on it.

Tendertones I liked but my daughter REALLY liked them. I'll have to get her one of her own so she can't bogart mine.

Passed on the nail polishes as frankly MAC's prices for them are getting up in the range of better-performing ones. $16 for a MAC nail polish? I don't think so. Major pass.

The shadow quads I looked over and did a few swatches. Colour Added had two Veluxe Pearl shades so that definitely drew my interest. I noticed T said in her review that the yellow one (I forget the color) looked like Three Ring Yellow. As Three Ring Yellow looks green on me instead of yellow, I like how this shade actually 'pulls' yellow on my skin and is a VP. I think T is an NC so that may be why TRY looks yellow on her. I've never gotten that sucker to look yellow on me. Call Me Bubbles looked nice but I've got so many colors like it. Same for the Shop/Drop quad. In that one the purple color is gorgeous but frankly as I have Violet pigment it's a skip.

So thankfully I got my order all set aside so it will be ready for me when I come in Thursday for my makeover. I bought the Florida creamblush online because I don't have a cream blush like it and I definitely wanted a backup of this. Also getting a backup of Watch Me Simmer when launched on Nordstrom's site as well.

And here's a pic of some swatches I did in-store today:

your swatches look lovely! :)

I actually like that the Self-Serve shadow isnt that pigmented. It looks like a great color just to darken up the crease. I have enough pigmented matte blacks. I prefer them actually, Im not a fan of "Looks like I got punched in the eye" blacks esp with my very pale skin. I like ones you start sheer then build up.
I think I'll end up getting the CA and SnD quads. I love that powerboosted looks like a purpler fishnet from UD, I am usually scared of yellows shadow but think Colour Added will finally look ok with brown eyes, I dont own Hypnotizing, I love the purple tinge in Shop&Drop, Pre-Packaged is gorg! I need more light matte shadows, so I think both quads are worth it.

So what are everyones thoughts on Dish It Up on NC10-15 ladies? Is it more of a fuchsia berry or pink/slightly purpleish color? I just dont really need another fuchsia berry color.

Does anyone think that UD's Radium is a dupe for Pre-packaged?

Hmmmm, I like the Colour Added quad. I really like the look Christine did with it but since Three Ring Yellow is still available I'm not sure if I should just pick that up instead. Yellow is one of the few colors I've been a little scared of!

For some reason the fluidlines do not appeal to me at all. Really did want Added Goodness but it doesn't look good at all to me.

I really like the fluidlines. To me these are the only things worth getting. I already have a few KLC from last yr, and knowing mac I am sure they will re-promote by the time I finish them. But the fluidlines look unique and beautiful. I love mac fluidlines, might sell my lancome and Bobbi Brown gel liners and just stick to mac.

I want the Call Me Bubbles quad but don't know if I NEED it. Also Shop & Drop looked like it would be my fav but the purple reads very pink in swatches-

Does anyone know if the red in it is similar to the red in plum dressing? Not if the two colors are similar but if they have similar amounts of red in them. Plum dressing (sadly) makes me look like a sick crack head if I use it all over my lids.

Oh and Added Goodness is SO on my list.

I can't wait for my order to arrive! I'm most excited about the lip products. No quads, fluidlines, or nail lacquers for me. Already have all the KLC from PP... but still trying to decide whether I need a BU or not. I might order Florida and Restores Dazzle! and maybe 2 more TT if I like them a lot and if still available by Friday.
