Temptalia tweeted that the counters/stores in NY launched the collection earlier, feb 2th.

After much debate, I decided I wanted Florida and Restores Dazzle Cremeblend blush to go with the Optimistic Orange I had already picked up. Well I figured I would go to the Mac Pro Store rather than ordering online. I stopped by the regular Mac store that had the party I went to last week. I figured I'd peek in and see if they had the new permanent MES. Well they didn't but they did have S3/C3 on display with soldout stickers. I couldn't believe it. Usually when they have a party, they take everything away until launch day. Well, they had Florida but not Restores Dazzle. I decided to run to Bloomies. I called asking for the new S3/C3 collection and they said it had been out for a few days and that stuff was already soldout. What's going on? Well they had Restores Dazzle so I lucked out again. So basically, if you are waiting for launch day, you might do best to call and see if it's already out (at least in NYC).

BTW - Today's look included: Shop & Drop Quad with Hypnotizing all over, Power Boosted in the crease applied with 286 brush and Shop & Drop in the outer V applied with the 226 brush, Added Goodness fluidline, Subtle Breeze on Cheeks, Chanel Pleasing glossimer.

Wow! I had no idea. So I guess I really am lucky to have found those 2 products. I wonder why they did that. Actually, I would have been pretty upset if I went on launch day and everything was sold out.

Wow! I had no idea. So I guess I really am lucky to have found those 2 products. I wonder why they did that. Actually, I would have been pretty upset if I went on launch day and everything was sold out.

It is weird that they launch things earlier in one city and not in the rest of the country. I'm glad you got your things

I'll take Call me bubbles quad although I already have (in the orange family) Paparazz-she, angel flame, saffron, another medium shimmery orange from an italian brand and I'll take Naked2 where I've seen one or two "orangy-coppery" shades.. I love orange!!

I'll also take:
scandelicious (I missed it the first time and I already have so vain and flaunting it)
whatch me simmer (I already have Runaway red)
optimistic orange (I guess it's not so different from fresh honey.. of course it has a different finish and looks less yellow)

I still don't know if I want Hus hush or tread gently.. which one is the more shimmery?

Stopped by my pro store and found that the collection had already been massacred. Watch Me Simmer, Naughty Saute and Quick Sizzle were all gone, as was one of the cream blushes. I might go to one of my regular stores this week just to see them, in case I decide that I really can't live without one (would likely be WMS, if any). I did get Dish It Up, which is a lovely shade- brighter and more opaque than I was expecting! And, as I suspected I would, I got all three quads. I haven't used Runaway Red or Scandelicious enough to warrant a backup immediately... Might have to get one for So Vain.

I have to say that I'm so relieved to see Mac put together some nice quads, that don't require a lot of work and patience. These all seem to be worthwhile- even the dark grey colour in the Colour Added quad didn't seem bad to me, although others have found it tricky to work with. I can't wait to try out all Call Me Bubbles, because I'm hoping it'll bring out the blue in my eyes.

I got 2 fluidlines and that's it. And I have so many eyeliners already! ( MAybe I'll keep just one. Which one do you guys think is the most unique? For some reason temptalia's swatches aren't enough for me.

I completely agree. I kinda feel like I'm never going to get my mitts on Watch Me Simmer-- and that's the only lipstick I was interested in!


...maybe I should just try and find out what the dupe for this would be and save myself the hassle of being disappointed!

Amazing choices!! For Quick Sizzle and Pink Pigeon, they are nothing alike. Pink Pigeon is lighter than Quick Sizzle!!

DO I need this new brown fluid line if I have a backup of avenue? I know they aren't the same, but can anyone compare them?

I haven't swatched Avenue yet (it's still sitting unopened in my train case), but from the swatches of Temptalia's website, are slightly similar, but Avenue is a much deeper, more blackened brown.

It's not a must have, but the enabler in me says you need Added Goodness. If you don't get it and later decide you like the color, Temptalia's suggested dupe of Bobbi Brown's Black Mauve Shimmer is pretty spot on.
