I am definitely getting PC. Wasn't able to swatch the lipsticks cuz they were gone from PRO and wasn't really into the cremesheens either (really 22$ for a lipgloss? no thank you!)

After seeing swatches, my list is going to be even smaller. I'm taking out Heroine since it's really close to Violetta, and I wasn't too impressed with the eye liners. My final list is:
Watch Me Simmer ls
Colour Saturation csg

I do not own either yet but seeing this makes me think that I could just get Violetta later. There are so many makeup items, I want this month but of course I do not have the money. Mattes are my favorite finish although I have dry lips. What is the finish of Violetta? I also have pigmented lips and I'd want the one that has better color pay off.

heroine on top, violetta on the bottom.

i picked up magenta blush today!
not really sure how i'm going to wear it...the sales assistant applied it on me in the store, but i feel like it was a bit too all over the place for me, though the colour is good. i think i might try it just under the cheekbones or something?
I often dab more intense blushes (like Rhubarb or Fever) in the hollows of my cheeks and then blend them out a bit. It gives me a nice, but not overdone, hit of colour and it also really brings out my cheekbones.

i basically redid my makeup a little when i got home and did something like what i think you're describing....and i like the effect a lot. i find the lighter shades seem to work better for me on the apples, but definitely anything deeper makes me look like i just came back from a jog through a blizzard if i wear it on the apples!

i have a nars blush, taos, that i never wear because i couldn't get the application to look right...i might give it another try sometime soon in the hollows instead.
blushes are definitely the makeup item i have struggled with the most!

the sales assistant at the pro store here said that it was going to be permanent now...i guess she could be mistaken?
I asked the MA here in Australia and she checked the book and said "yes it will be permanent"...
Maybe she just had a dodgy MA.

seeing as i was pretty excited about this collection, swatches have left me feeling a bit meh about it. all i want is reel sexy lipstick. i might end up with a couple of other bits but right now i'm not being grabbed. any recs for me for things that are awesome?!

I'm pretty sure I confirmed with the girls at my counter (in Au too, she checked the update book). Maybe permanent here but not in the USA?

I feel the same. I will probably just pick up some glosses as I love the creamsheen formula. I will get my purple fix from the extra dimension shadows!

heroine on top, violetta on the bottom.
Thanks! Definitely getting Heroine. The sheen in Violetta on my lips gives me this duo chrome/pearlish finish and sometimes I don't want that. Violetta looks a little pinker in the swatch, I see that when I wear Violetta as well. There is a subtle difference that really matters to me when dealing with purples.

i love the cremesheen glosses too but they are so exencive for us :( i do however love the bright orangey one so i might splurge on it :)

Violetta is an amplified finish. They color pay off is pretty equal, to be honest. :) They both give great pay off. If you like purple lipstick, Heroine won't disappoint!

I'm undecided on whether to skip this collection. I'm debating Heirloom eye pencil and Watch Me Simmer. When I saw it WMS at the Shop Cook event, it looked gorgeous on everyone wearing it but I thought it would look too bright for me. Last week, I went to the Pro store and the MA had this beautiful lip color on. I rarely ask the MAs what they are wearing. I don't know why but I had to know. The first thing out of her mouth was "its soldout!" but she told me it was Watch Me Simmer. I didn't even recognize the color, it looked more red on her. Whereas, during the shop cook event, it looked really coral on the MAs. I guess it really looks different depending on the skintone. I still think it looks bright but I'm wondering if Elegant's dab and smush method might work for me and I do like brighter colors for summer so maybe . . .

Heirloom - I just tried it on the bottom lash line and liked it but I didn't try it on the upper lash line. Some reviews said it was hard to work with. But I wonder if it is too similar to a Chanel pencil I bought a while ago yet rarely use.

The finish of the two make them different enough to justify owning both, if you are a purple lover. I am disappointed with swatches of Pink Popcorn. Wish I had gotten Heroine instead.

Maybe you could tell me what that pencil was called? Because I'm desperately on the hunt for a dupe for Rose Platine and would be exceedingly happy if those two were similar!

When Shop/Cook came out, I was unsure about Watch Me Shimmer too, as I was convinced it would turn orange on my NW skin. I saw duckrodeo's swatch and became convinced I had to get it, so I picked it up on the restock and I'm so glad I did! In the tube it looks orange/pink, but on me it's a definitely coral, pink leaning color. I'm an NW15 and I love it on me. I haven't seen it look bad on anyone so far. Maybe you can check it out at the counter? I think it'll depend a little on lip color too.

I'm wearing Violetta today to make a final decision on Heroine. I love my purple lippies, I just don't know how much I would wear a darker matte version. Since I'm so pale, I can't do vampy colors, but it looks like it wouldn't be too vampy. I don't know. I want so much of these three collections and my first order has to be under $100 between them.

It was Rose Platine. Thanks for reminding me. I just dug it out and swatched it on my hand. Although the lighting is not as bright in my house as it was in the store, I believe Heirloom was more lavender. Heirloom is silvery like Rose Platine but with a stronger and cooler lavender tone to it. Not quite a dupe but close enough that you might like it.
