I don't own any bronzers, because I'm pale and I like it, but I'm intrigued about how I could incorporate this product into my repetoire. I'm not sure which one I should be considering, can someone suggest "the one" that looked best on all you NC 20's. Also do I need the brush that comes with this collection to rock the bronzers? Thanks!

the brush that comes with the collection looks very nice, but i think there are also a lot of of nice brushes suitable for use with bronzers...especially since you can use a blush brush if you've got one....

Thanks Aradhana for the brush pep talk, I love a good brush & don't want to pass this one by if it is going to make or break the proper & good application of bronzers. I've bought so much make up and new brushes recently it's ridiculous but I'm compelled to have a nice collection.

Shellcat, The HC collection looks so exciting and I can't wait but I feel like if I don't get the brush with this collection that the Bronzer won't be applied correctly...not only will I be pale (which for some reason makes some people uncomfortable) and somewhat pasty at times but my Bronzer will be all jacked up. Kind of like I watched the Jenna Marbles Drunk MU Tutorial and took it seriously... It's nice to know I'm not the only one completely obsessed with MU.

Not ridiculous, but completely justified. I feel the same way much to the chagrin of some people I know personally. But hey, it's my money and I spend it how I like it! Lol.

Ahh I wasn't anticipating liking Crew, but all these swatches and the confirmation that the stripes aren't overspray makes me anxious to get it. I'm definitely backing that baby up! I'm about halfway through my first Lightscapade, so I'm sure Crew will be a happy welcoming to my collection.

My list so far:

Red Racer l/s
Emerald Sea liner
Shore leave lip liner

gonna haul me some BUs of all of them, lol. I'd rather get multiples of what I know I will use rather than to get something and either dislike it or not use it at all.

Those are definites. I'm still not sold on the bronzers. I'm not much of a bronzer person, or if I need a little contouring I use Harmony blush or my Too Faced leopard bronzer. I love Sail La Vie l/s, but I'm a little apprehensive of the straight-up orangeness of it. I think I'll stick with my Scarlet Ibis. I might also haul To Catch A Sailor, though I find my Soft Sable pretty much untouched. I don't want TCAS to get the same kind of idle treatment. Barefoot and Jaunty eyeshadows look pretty neat, too, though I'm just not sure if I need more neutral shades! I might end up hauling them, though lol.

Anyhow, I love your profile picture...you just look so happy and I love your hair! Enjoy your new MAC stuff.

Since I have both I am going to respond, although you directed your question at Edelmc. Red Racer is a neutral red. No blue undertones, lighter and brighter than Runaway Red. Perhaps I'll post some swatches later with a comparison of several reds.

I really love Sun Dipped. I'm NC15 and it works perfect with my undertones. I use the 138 brush to apply it and i like it, so i don't think the 167SH is needed.

To the ones who baught and tested the 167 brush: What do you think about it? For what would you use it for?

I'm thinking about getting a separate brush for applying bronzer and I'm not sure whether to get this one or maybe the bobbi brown bronzer brush. What do you guys think?

I bought it yesterday. I never use new brushes. I wash them first. I will try it today and let you know. For now I can tell you it is really soft and I think it is ideal for on the go...

Some reds compared. Note that the picture's colours may deviate somewhat from the colours IRL.

From left to right:
Red Racer, Runaway Red, M.A.C. Red, Heartless, Russian Red, Scarlet Ibis, Lady Danger, Ruby Woo.
I forgot to include Lady Bug and Prolong, but hey, who cares...
Red Racer is a true red, whereas Runaway Red is deeper with a blue undertone.
