When did you start looking? Reel Sexy sold out here the weekend it was released

So I kind of need some advice on outfit/make-up.

Usually I'm used to wearing all black clothing so make-up isn't an issue... but tonight I'm going out. I like the colour blocking trend, so I was thinking of purple jeans and an orange shirt - but I can't figure out how I could possibly pull of coloured make-up with it, I figure it'd all have to be neutral, right? So I'm now thinking of just purple jeans and a black shirt... would Heroine be too much to go with the jeans? I don't want to be matchy-matchy but at the same time I want it all to co-ordinate in. Help? I'm terrible with clothes and make-up together. :/

I think Heroine would go really well with it, because then it alternates from top to bottom between purple and orange. But then i would do a neutral eye with it, maybe with neutral shadows with a slight orange tone or warm tone.

I think you should not wear a black shirt with those jeans. A coulour should always be worn with other colours, not black (just ask Trinny&Susannah). A bright pink lipstick might be the best because orange and bright pink go well together.

Would a bright pink lipstick not be too much with a bright orange shirt and purple jeans? I just don't want it to appear too cluttered or "clownish" lol. So worried.

I am no fashion guru or anything, but I would do the orange shirt, purple jeans, neutral lip and Shop & Drop quad. Or, do neutral eye and Heroine with purple jeans& black shirt. Do you like the eye to be the focus or the lip--then choose accordingly. :) What a fun decision to make.

Thanks! I think I'll probably do orange shirt, purple jeans, neutral lip & shop and drop quad. I'm much more of an eye-focus person than lip focus. I'm getting quite excited now. :)

I wanted to buy it the day it came out. I couldn't get to it sooner in the day and figured, there's a bunch of MAC stores here and thought at least one would have it, but nope. Dead wrong

I just called the only one I know of that was pretty close by (San Francisco) and they said they sold out before the actual launch because they do pre-sale :(

Oh well, there will be more colors like that eventually lol

did they say why? Whend do you wear black? LOL OR is it when you are wearing bright bold colors?
