Unfortunately half of the women in my office that don't use (much) makeup seem to rely on heavy tan as their beauty regime.

The women at my job don't wear a lot of makeup. Neither do most of my friends. But they know this is my thing. Just like one collects gym shoes and music, mine is makeup and music. LOL I had one girl who wore a lot, but she was an esthecian (sp). I used to feel "bad" about it. I even had one coworker tell me how ridiculous it was for me to bring my MU bag on the train. (I have a 1.5 hour commute, I put my makeup on, on the train). But now I silently laugh to myself when they were a bright lipstick, or frost not suited for them, and nothing else to balance it out. that same coworker is now always asking me for tips, and now luggs all of her makeup to work. But puts it on on her desk. I love it when ppl say they don't need it, as if I am wearing it to hide. *smh*

didn't mean to go into a min rant. LOL

yes, i find it's kind of like an insult in disguise when people say that to/around me, though i'm not sure if those people realize it!

i kind of wondered the other day whether i 'need' it...but i guess that isn't really the fun in makeup, that's pure utility!

Finally ordered Hyacinth and Resort! I had a free shipping code and money in my Paypal account, so I figured it was a good time.

I'd love to see a swatch of Resort, I've been going back and forth on that one too. LOVE Hyacinth, it's a nice change from navy.

I wanted to give a shout-out to XicanaQueen. She graciously sold me a Pink Popcorn. I was so upset for skipping it and now I have it, and I LOVE it! Thanks girl!

Another shout out to her for hooking me up with FOL from Chen Man and Heroine. The lipstick, not the narcotic that is injected in the veins. This Heroine was way more addicting.

u know, i got love long distance from beth ditto hoping it would be a more durable version of it and NO. Pink popcorn is soooo much better in texture and wearability. U were lucky! enjoy it ;)
