Now I am scared! I am to go back to Ecuador on Saturday. How can I pack them so they make it home safely?
honey on boost has the exact answer! They CAN be transported, just don't toss them in your makeup bag like the rest of your makeup. Be as cautious and overly protective with them as possible. Make sure they are NOT in your checked bag if you're flying THAT'S FOR SURE! I usually wrap them up really good and place them in my purse! I don't want anyone handling the bag they are in except me!
It just isn't practical for me to travel with them all the time since I travel so much. I would be constantly repackaging them... too much work.

They got me too girl! I can't believe it shows up on me as a light glowy blush! I'm NC30/35 and was completely skipping LY until Shellcat swatched it for me on our twin skin and it actually showed up as more than just shimmer! I was shocked! I wore it as a blush the last 2 days and it is so subtle but nice! I have resisted Warm Soul for way too long I think... Guess that will will end up in my cart during my next order online now! Look at YOU becoming an enabler yourself missy! HeeHee
Warm Soul is gorgeous; it doesn't look like much in the pan, but it's completely natural looking and very flattering. It's idiot proof too; I think I could put it on with my eyes closed in the dark and it would still look great. I think it's my favourite out of all of my blushes, although it's not the most dramatic.

As for the enabling thing, give and ye shall receive. ;)

I'm debating on Earthly myself. But, I have the Naked 2 palette and am worried it's too close a dupe for something in it lol. I'm getting some of the MES this friday so am deciding between it and Water as I would like more fun colored eyeshadows. Altho, my Naked palette is awesome lol.
I was wondering that too... I'll know soon enough! My Earthly is on its way!
I know Shellcat has Naked 1 & she said nothing was a dupe from that. She also had a couple Inglot shadows that seemed like they'd be close but ended up swatching differently. But then again, it all depends on the swirls you have and what area of Earthly you are dipping in. My Earthly may end up completely different than Shell's...

Earthshine, Light Year on NW10-12

Can't believe how intense Light Year is! I get a different look every time I swatch with these, the nature of the swirls makes it SO interesting, don't you think?
Would anyone like to persuade me to get Star Wonder?

I can answer number 1.

I DO recommend the VAE. I feel that THIS latest release of this product is better than the previous. The particles are finer and the entire product becomes creamy as you blend it in.

I also LOVE the fragrance of the VAE, I know a lot of folks do not, but I am a fan of earthy scents, patchouli and sandalwood, etc...

I used it the other morning and it instantly made me feel revived, and that was after a night of well...having some fun. <---- I will leave it at that.

Makes my skin feel so smooth and clean afterwards. Hope that helps.
So again I caved in and got something else from this collection lol at this rate I'm going to end up with the entire collection in my stash. Thanks for the advise I got it this morning and used it soon as I got home and I really like it, I actually think its a bit better than my philosophy scrub.

Oh wow, they are pretty close. I may have to check that blush out! How do you think the textures compare? I steer clear of drugstore products but I know there are always exceptions. I guess I've gotten picky; if I don't like the texture, how it applies, or something like that, it doesn't matter if the color's pretty.
The Milani is a bit more powdery with more fallout, but otherwise very similar. The Milani swatches more pigmented also but when you swipe your finger across the surface more dust falls off. It's not an exact dupe, but very similar.

So I don't have anything to do today because I'm on vacation and my car is in the shop :( So here are some heavy swatches I just took. Sorry I only have a camera phone so the quality isn't too great, but it does show the color pretty well.

Here are some heavy swatches (to show the color differences, on the cheek there is even less difference)

L to R: Lightyear, Luminoso, The Peach base + Pinky swirl (no golden swirl) of Lightyear

No Flash in Natural Overcast Light. You can really see how the Milani is a shade more apricot/orange than Light year.

Just for Fun comparison. Solar Ray (Left) VS Light year. (Left). You can see how solar ray has more shimmer, and is a bit more darker peach. They look pretty dang similar on my cheek. (I have very little of the orange swirl)

Are msf patters the same way all the way through? A MAC artist tried to tell me that I shouldnt be too concerned with the swirl of Earthshine msf, because the pattern changes (i.e., I may get more burgundy color) as it gets used...I was just looking at him like

I asked another artist about the swirls and he said they're pretty consistent all the way through. Which of the artists are right?

Oh, I don't think it's silly to back items up; I hope my comment didn't come across that way. I don't do it because I'd rather have fun with new items and because I don't think I'll use most of what I have up. That doesn't mean I think there's anything wrong with it. Everyone manages their collection differently, and there's not a thing wrong with that.

Your comment didn't come across like that at all! I was catching up on the thread and read somewhere several pages back a comment about BUs being silly or something like that. I was just expressing my own personal thoughts about BUs in general.

Wow your Light Year is really metallic looking. Did you get a large golden swirl in it?

I'm wondering this too. I think I read somewhere that swirls go all the way down. I am hoping that they do. If you find out let me know.

Totally agree about Naked 1. I don't have Naked 2, but it doesn't look like there's a dupe from the swatches I've seen online. I'm planning to get Naked 2 though at some point, so even if there's no Earthly dupe in it, I should be all set on neutrals for awhile. (Trying to anti-enable myself, haha.)

Pixie, you're completely right - we could all end up with very different Earthlys! I just love the warm taupe-grey-brown description but I know I'll hardly ever have the time to use it wet, so I wouldn't get as much use out of it as I'd like. The only other MES I have is In the Groove and I never use it.

There have been recommendations for the 184 brush to apply MSFs and MBs, but it's only available at PRO stores. I think I'm going to call and order one. Are there any other recommendations for brushes that are only available from PRO? They don't have to be mineralize focused. Any brush suggestions that you think are particularly great and useful will be appreciated. I'd like to place one order instead of several small orders since I'd have to pay for shipping.

From the current ones available: 128 (love it for MB's), 187, 188, 235, 234.

If you are lucky, you can find the 189, 131, and 174 at CCO's. Love these three for MSF's.

Piarpreet, what swirls did you end up with? Are you happy with your online order? And did you go for second? :)

I didn't think it was THAT big, but it changes each time I swatch...I put it on my cheeks and it's reading very pink now.
That's what I LOVE about these msfs!

Here's a little comparison I threw together in case anyone needs justification for purchase....

From L-R NARS Orgasm, NARS Madly, MAC Light Year, MAC Porcelain Pink, MAC By Candlelight, MAC Earthshine and MAC Lightscapade (just for fun, he felt left out :( )

Again, my skin is about an NW10-12, lighter than MAC foundations.
