Liz2012, you asked me yesterday about my Earthshine. It looks very much like Temptalia's, but the burgundy swirl is slightly thinner. Almost no gold.

My guy told me he has trouble finding the little black boxes inside the truck. So, sometimes he pulls up...and then leaves. Then comes back later in the day after the truck's empty and he can see it. Grrr

I forgot to post this yesterday but CotU is sold out now on MAC's site. Stratus and ES are still in stock. Still no restock on Venus and CAC it seems.

Ah, I'm a bit ashamed to say this, but when I read your post my mind went into overdrive, and I started planning a quick visit to the MAC counter to snap up a CoU on the way home. I had to mentally slap myself and remember I hated how orange it was on me.

It's the only face product I didn't haul so my little collection feels a wee bit incomplete. Just a wee bit.

I see, thank you Just went over to T's website to look at her Earthshine, and i do think it has a pretty thick burgundy swirl.
And since i'm still quitte scared it will be too dark for me (*sigh*, i know lol

) i might look for one with very little burgundy tomorrow.

Mine is kinda similar, it also contains alot of the creamy, lighter color
I really love purples, but i didn't pick up Universal Appeal the first time because it swatched just plain brown in the store.
Might look into it again tomorrow, maybe if i get one with alot of the purple color, we'll see ..

UA is not super purple on me either, even though it contains lots of purple! It's more like if Earthly had a purple sheen instead of the grey sheen. I did a neutral look with UA in the crease that I liked and I plan to try it in combination with Invincible Light and Neo Nebula next.

I went to the store today to swatch some of the things I was on the fence about. I walked away empty handed and 100% satisfied I made all the right choices. Now I think I will back up Light Year, Star Wonder, and possibly Neo Nebula as well (which answers the "favorite product" question, although I love everything!).

I actually think SR and LY look similar on the cheek. Not dupes, but in the same color family. And SR is just made of shimmer, while LY has that satiny sheen with a gold overlay. I think you will LOVE light year!

Earthly is one of the MES i wanted. But when I swatched in store I passed. I have to say it IS pretty, and judging from your own pretty face, it would look pretty spectacular on you.

Liz2012; you could ask the MUA's at the counter to apply Earthshine on your cheeks. I've used it this morning again and to me it is the perfect contour colour.
UA swatched brown on me with a slight purple sheen like Sherm mentioned.

Andabri, thank you so much for your comparison of SR and LY. I have ordered SR today and already own 2 LYs. Since I love LY so much I couldn't resist SR. Now I am happy that I will get it.

Yh, i've seen some UA swatches passing by the past few days, a brown color with a beautiful purple sheen. Definitely not the color i remembered seeing in the store ..

And i'm like that too, when i'm really on the fence about products i usually end up not buying them. I always keep in mind there are just too many products i will like straight away, and rather keep my money to spend on those

T says that's Amazon Princess from Wonder Woman is very close but I didn't think so....Ive worn supernova twice and it's so in your face pink I seriously have to tone it down with powder. to me, that's just way too much work lol I didn't think I would go any brighter than Dollymix

Another ufc fan yay! I knew that silva was going to beat him. That man is just unstoppable right now. I was mostly watching for the forrest n tito fight. I was going forest. But don't get why he always walks out of the cage! I'm like dammit forrest, quit doing that!

The better ones have more purple than the green and darker color. Also it does look better wet if there isn't much purple in it.

Neo Nebula became a favorite out of nowhere!

I finally decided to go get Universal Appeal this weekend, and I'm going to hunt for one with lots of purple. I think the one I swatched in store had a lot of purple, and I liked the color it made. I also want to pick up a BU Earthshine with a lot more burgundy in it than the one I have. But I want to be able to swatch it first because I'm not sure if I would actually like the resulting color. These swirls are so pretty, but they're so fickle. I left my swirls up to chance for my first bout with mineralize makeup, but I see myself taking matters into my own hands and picking them out next year.

My HG Skincare Product for anti aging is the Clarisonic! In my thirties (38 now), I was mostly bothered by dull skin. I am NW25 and always tanned, but began to fear the damage the sun was doing to my skin. As the natural exfoliation process began to slow down, not only did my complexion look dull, but my pores got clogged...cystic acne! Gross! :barf: Using the Clarisonic once a day keeps my skin looking fresh and acne free! For skincare, I also love Dermalogica products...but are pricey, so I reserve those for evening use only. I like Philosophy and Bare Minerals lotions/serums for day use.

I'm new on Specktra! I've been following this thread for quite some time and I finally thought... I'm gonna join! I have never bought so much from a collection, I also think I never got this excited over a collection.. I have such a weakness for mineralize products (as many of you do). I got all 4 msf's, all 4 m/b, CaC l/s, Earthly m/e! I bought them online, and I'm really happy with the swirls actually! I only wished that the gold vein in Solar Ray was smaller and that the brown/taupe vein in Earthly was bigger, but other than that the veining is great! I will post a picture of my swirlies soon I've been very busy so I haven't really used them yet but they look sooo pretty, almost too pretty to use haha. But it's now summer vacation, so I have a lot of time to play with my little planets yay! I'm debating on whether I should buy Fire Sign/Pleasureseeker l/s.. even though I'm practically broke lol. How comparable is Fire Sign to VG Cyndi? Some bloggers say they're the same and others say that Cyndi is way more coral/warm and Fire Sign more berry.. I missed out on Cyndi so I really want something like it. And Pleasureseeker.. how pigmented/sheer is it and does it really has a silvery/frosty sheen?

For skincare, I also love Dermalogica products...but are pricey, so I reserve those for evening use only. I like Philosophy and Bare Minerals lotions/serums for day use.

I still have yet to try out my Clarisonic. It's charging now and I'll use it tonight. I was able to get the Mia2 for only $60. I had a 20% off coupon at Ulta that didn't list the Clarisonic as a restriction, and I used rewards points.

I'm lazy, so my skincare regimen is extremely simple. I just wash my face with African black soap and a washcloth, moisturize with a mixture of natural oils that I make myself, then I use a sunscreen with SPF30 by Kiss My Face. That's it. The Clarisonic will replace my washcloth. I'm also looking into trying a derma roller that's been mentioned in this thread.
